I first played when I went to seattle for vacation in the summer of 02. I played Halo at the next door neighbor's house, 4-player split screen, and it was hang 'em. I keep looking for the shotgun and keep getting lost. When I got back to Las Cruces, NM, my brother's friend had an X-Box and I went over and told him to get Halo. So maybe 2 weeks late he got halo and my brother, his friend ben, and I played through the campaign and played 2-player split screen. We played blood gulch cause we though it was so cool to shoot at each other half way across the map(yes dont lie you did it to) and drive the ghost. I also thought sidewinder was cool because of the tank and damnation was cool because of the waterfalls. So my freshman year(fall 03) I went to my low brass party after a marching band competition and we played a near 16 player lan of halo. I though it was the greatest thing in the world and played all day. I though it was amazing that some of those guys jumped when they shot rockets and killed me with 8 shots with the pistol. We played hang 'em high ctf and tryed to go the needler ramp to take each other flag. after picking up the needler 20 time I finally killed someone. I just though it was so cool. I learned some of these guy play regularly and the yhave been playing for half a year, so I started playing with them regularly and we got pretty good. And because of Halo I got an X-Box. And we were big anticipaters of halo 2. A few day before one of my friend andrew dormody discovered the leaked french version of halo 2 and downloaded it on to his modded box and told my other friend dax and he didd the same. 2 dayss before halo 2 was released, my friends Dax and Cory and myself went over to my friend Jayce's and played the French version. We really didnt like the game, so Halo sort of died after then. then near the end of the school year this year I played on live at one of my friends houses and though it was so cool, so I got my own account and played at my friends house all day every day, and I though after the first update, that halo 2 seemed more like halo ce, but I was dissappointed that the magnum power was decreased. Eventually I got Comcast Cable and now I am a regular live player.
