I just played through the ODST campaign on Legendary this weekend, and I felt as though that would be enough to warm myself up for some good ol' fashioned firefight.

After playing a round in ODST I'm convinced that ODST's firefight was more challenging (solo) than Reach's. I was pretty much destroyed; I barely made 100,000 points.Reach's might be a bit more fun and have some good features, it just seems to be a bit more forgiving?

Which do you guys prefer? Be nice.

I think reach's is better

the reason ODST is harder is for a few reasons.

1.Ammo is limited (in reach the ammo crates never run out)
2. You can custamize enemies and make your own game types (also there is multipe game types)
3. The maps are different. In ODST it was more about defence, like you held the high ground and the covy's would all charge at you (such as lost platoon, the plaza one and almost all of them. In reach you can set up shop in many different places and the enemies have more areas to come from like 3 or 4 ramps instead of 1 or 2 like in ODST
4. Enemies in reach are different. Since there is more enemy types that means there is less of each so less of one type. In ODST there went many enemy types so they would send 15 brutes at you all at once.

thats just what i noticed, but your right ODST was much harder.

Aspiring filmmaker

Odst's firefight felt like it had a purpose to beat.

In reach you can just change a few settings to make it easier, and its not as fun, with no real goals.
Odst is better IMO
