1) Forerunner military likely had as many starships and heavy combat support drones as the CIS had droids
2) The Forerunners' starfighters and artillery were several times more powerful then a Covenant heavy ship, capable of pulling entire continents off of planets with their weapons and turning them upside down, crushing entire cities and civilizations in one fell swoop.
3) They could travel between universes.
4) Could bring their minds into a heightened state of consciousness called the Domain.
5) Had hundreds of super-AIs that dwarfed Cortana, or were similar too her, planning strategies with the brighest Forerunner minds in the Eccumene
6) Which spanned more then 3 million worlds, more planets then the Empire had ships.
7) The the hell told you the Forerunner weapons were long to charge? They lanced out and destroyed a Halo ring in a few shots.

Go cry some more.
I hate fanboys.[/quote]
So you hate yourself.
If I was a fanboy:
1) I would've liked Reach.
2) I'd say that the UNSC alone could beat the Galactic Empire.
3) I'd say the Covenant could beat the Rakatans.
And so on.
I'm not a blind fanboy, and I do defend Halo because I like it more. However, if there is a legitimate reason why another universe would beat Halo, I'd accept that. As it stands, in this case, the presentations of the movies supercede everything in the Wars universe, thus knocking down the Empire to a UNSC/Covenant level.
I lost most of my respect for Wars after the prequels, and still even I know this, yet the Wars fans don't seem to understand their own canon policy.
The movies were made in the 70's and 80's what do you expect the best visual effects ever so the books and encyclopedias supercede the movies on information about how powerful weapons are. Also some would argue that you are a fanboy just because of the fact that you read the Halo books.
The prequels--however -blam!- ty as they were movies--were not made in the 80s. The special edition re-release of Ep. 4,5 and 6 were made in the late nineties. Its not my canon policy, its George Lucas', and it states G-canon, which ammounts to the movies, supercedes everything else.
I mean whoever had the balls to say the power of the AT-AT was equal to or more powerful thenthis was an idiot.
Same with the snowspeeder's power (which is, obviously, more powerful then the Little Boy)
And yeah, you could say I'm a canon fanboy in that regard, but just because I read the books doesn't make me a overall fanboy.
I own and have read 42 Star Wars books, such as Tatooine Ghost, Death Star and the Jedi Aprentice series, played every Star Wars videogame from Jedi Outcast: Jedi Knihgt II all the way up to the present, and have seen each movie a hundred times. Am i a Star Wars fanboy?
Nope!
Just because I read a book doesn't make me a hater, nor, either, a lover, of the series. I can't stand the Wars EU because of the plethora of plot discrepancies, but rather see each story as its own isolated story. I don't care for the rest of the EU.
If its a good story, I'll read it.
Pissed off much
Well tell me: what am I pissed off at? Did I give any indication that I was pissed off at anything?
Don't know about you, but I'm quite calm here, drinking a Gatorade, doing some homework and getting on with life, rather then getting all hot an bothered over a fictional match up of even more fictional universes.
I never really understood the concept of fanboyism. It isn't real. Why do people get all defensive and angry when another totally indifferent universe is "more powerful" then there's?
I could come up with a universe right now that eviscerates both Halo and Wars combined.
"In the year 4,009, the Dimensional Communty dictates the evolutionary growth of civilizations, using its mysterious military arm known only to the masses as 'The Organization'. If a civilization is deemed too hostile, The Organization meets the offending creatures with swift, silent, yet devestating military prowess.
However, to any of those privvy to this most horrible fact--and there are only a few amongst the trillions who do--they know of the impossible horror they can bring upon worlds. Planets shatter, galaxies cease to exist, black holes consume entire star clusters, and even universes are broken into oblivion at the nefarious wills of The Organization.
But the Community's newest member race--the humans--see these atrocities as a most horrible afront to the otherwise kinder nature of the multiverse..."
Now tell me...what the -blam!- could Wars or Halo do against that?
But am I bothered by this? No, I'm not, because its not real.
Moral of the story: fictional universe fights are not that big of a deal, they're meant for fun, not to be taken seriously.
