Subject: Reason for Bungie Design Decision?

I'm 23, I have a house, dog, girlfriend, job and I have no interest in any fanboyism so if you're thinking about sending me a childish PM, don't be surprised when I don't call back.

In Reach they were Solders (Army), not Marines (Navy). They have different equipment. Simple explanation.

I recognise that and made a note of it in the OP, I'm talking about the marine design across every halo game.

Different battalions could have different uniforms.

Not really, standard issue gear would be standard across all Battalions.

Marines not the same as Navy. Soldiers=A fighting personel.

Your Dumb. The Marines are a unique branch on their own.

Reachs halo CE marines on the pelican with keyes looked the best :).

A nice graphical overhaul.

Halo 2 marines were just blockhead morons.

Halo 3 marines were alright..

I guess. They are all from different places though. Earth, Reach and other colonies.

They used a lot of the same equipment. The armour the Reach Army used in Halo Reach was also armour that the Marines use.
