Take a look at this site.
http://www.bungieaerospace.com/
Notice beneath the logo on the left. It says "per audacia ad astra" When translated from Italian, it means "for daring ad astra" (Source http://translate.google.com/?hl=en&tab=wT#auto|en|per%20a udacia%20ad%20astra) "ad astra" is what i'm trying to figure out. It could mean several things.

1) a rocket company researching new technologies including "Plasma Propulsion"-http://www.adastrarocket.com/aarc/

2) Latin phrase meaning "To the stars" http://www.nss.org/adastra/

Thoughts?

I like to think of myself as an AI - I hunger for information, and I know, one day, that hunger will be my ultimate demise.

We have tried this research many times. Nothing is known, hopefully something will happen soon.

I got the proper translation. Change the language to Latin and change the first word to Through Audacity.

No company that uses terms like, head-to-head, man-on-man, action-sack, and mancannon is homophobic.
I supposed that teabagging is.... what, a representation of a new form of colonoscopy?

It's actually Latin and means something along the lines of "To the stars, through boldness".

"Through Audacity to the stars"

Sorry if I've spammed but I love this kind of thing.

And technically it should be "audaciam".

After 4 years of Latin in high school, I should've known that without looking it up.

The proper, non-direct, translation is "to boldly go into the stars."

Star Trek-esque, I know, but that's grammatically what it translates to.

you can't translate Latin word for word, that's not how latin grammar works.

"Through Audacity, The Stars"

A reference to either the motto of the Commonwealth Air Forces
"Per Ardua Ad Astra" "Through Adversity, The Stars"

Or NASA "Per Aspera Ad Astra" "Through Hardship, The Stars"

I was going to mention this.

For instance, the RAAF's (where I live) motto is Per Aspera ad Astra.
At first I though it was a reference, but the differences are a little bit too wide to be a reference.
