Right, today I am officially leaving bungie.net. I am sick of all the immature fools on this site that just spam, flame and ruin the experince for others. I can see why certain moderators have left bungie.net nd why other members have too. I mgith check in every now and agian, just to check up on the weekly whats update buts that it. I don't know what has happened to this community but its just not what it was when I joined.
I'll see you around guys....

Errrr...okay. Bye.

I hate everything, but it's not my fault.

Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.

Honestly, I don't remember ever seeing your name before; nobody really cares that you're leaving. While it's sad that a decent member is leaving (I'll assume that you were at least an OK member), making attention-whore "I'm leaving" threads don't help the Community any, and from your post you obviously think the Community needs all the help it can get.

Certain moderators? I don't think anybody really knows what happened to Sigma; and Reiginko left because of Real Life and for personal reasons, not because of the decline of the Community. In fact, he railed against people like you who talk about how bad the Community is, and then don't do anything to help it, but instead go in their private forums and talk about how bad the Community has gotten, or make a dramatic attention-whore exit like you just did.

You think the Community is not the same as when you joined? You joined after the New Hotness my friend, I've been around and the Community has stayed about the same. I understand why somebody who had been around pre-New Hotness might be disgusted, I was around (for a little bit), and the forums actually were much different then. There were probably about the same ratio of morons to good members, but there were less people so you mainly saw the good members. I too am disgusted at the flood of Halo 3 threads in The Underground, and there really isn't anything anybody can do to stop that, but the Community as a whole is not going to improve unless everybody works to make it better. Being angry at the current state of affairs and then not lifting a finger to change it is rather a hypocritical position, don't you think?

Anyway, I've talked long enough. Goodbye and Goodluck, but don't think anybody is going to mourn your passing.

Heh. Not sure who you are, but bye. I doubt your actually going to leave however. Many people make these threads and 99% of them come back a day later and forget they even left in the first place. The threads don't help- if you're going to leave then leave.

Thanks for the positive feedback - I'm glad that we're all making such a good effort to keep this community together.

I don't really know you. But, later. It saddens me that so many people are losing interest. I'm as addicted as ever. I'll only make one of these threads when I'm forced to leave. I would never leave if I didn't have to.

Firstly I'm not just leaving because of the community, I have lots of exams in the near future which I would like to pass. Secondly I am going to spend more time with family and my girlfriend who just got back from her dads who I can now see again. Thirdly I wasn't expecting anyone to mourn me for leaving or even care about me leaving I was simple stating that I was going and not coming back onto bungie.net to post or use the forums or anything like that. Anyway this is my last post.

People have always lost interest. It's just that people used to keep their mouth shut and leave.

Dude, you suck at life.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

How's that for a not so friendly good bye? Because, whether you like it or not, leaving isn't going to change a thing. I think Ghandi pretty much covered what I would say, so I leave it at that. Loser.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

Sorry Ghandi, but you could have brought that a little nicer. When Reig left, everyone was all like: "OMG why you leave?!!!!!!"

Now that a lesser known member leaves, you suddenly don't care. What makes him any less than Reiginko? After all both of them are/were leaving for personal reasons. And if i am correct, Reiginko also left because he lost interest (among other things).

I do understand the reason behind it you're post. Simply leaving doesn't make things better.
Int he end, this post is nothing more than a sad example of the current state of the community.

It's sad that Maximum Fear is leaving, and it's sad he didn't do a thing about changing the community, but we might be just as wrong not trying to prevent members from leaving.

Leaving because you think the forums are depressing, or going down hilll is a lot different than leaving because of personal reasons, or a search for "real life". I respect those who are looking for something better. I rebuke those who think it's hopeless and try and make a statement by leaving.

Humbug, people don't listen to reason anymore. You have to be blunt and unforgiving if you want to get a point across.
