My high school somehow got Halo 1 on the computers there and one game i went 58 - 0 when I have never even played the game before, I really hope the Halo 1 remake, if it is true, has this large of a skill gap.

Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.

Your buddies must've been really bad if they went negative against someone who never played the game.

58-0? Guess it was CTF (happens to the best game type).

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

Damn, your high school is AWESOME!

Hey, now!

This is officially either the greatest or worst thing to ever happen to Star Wars. I'm going with the former.

Hah, yeah, we always do(did) the same. Having 16 people in computer lab in a small school.

Then our stupid computer teacher said we couldn't play shooting games because it would turn us into sociopathic murderers.
We still play, though.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

You _want_ a skill gap?

I remember installing Steam and hacking the PCs at my old middle school.

my autocad teacher brought in a flash drive with quake 2 on it, he said we had to make quake 2 models and add them to his collection. Most of the time we ended up just playing it in class anyway. I was the only one who finished my model and added to the library anyway.

seriously, and i've only been out 4 years. although i think i heard about it happening back then, i was just too wrapped up in getting girls to get me skittles and wandering the halls waiting for lunch. and of course sleeping or not there.

Remember Reach

We have kinda same thing. We have 2 Xboxes, 8 controllers and two Halo 2. We play it every break on highschool (upper secondary school) but I'm going to graduate. Halo 2 is so awesome!

My old music teacher used to have a slim PS2 and Guitar Heroes 1 and 2. Everyone would fight over playing that.

I got out of doing work in Math class one time to install Counter-Strike 1.6 to my teacher's laptop :D

My school's really strict with the computer policy. After I spent fifteen minutes getting Chrome working, it was blocked two hours later.

Haha, yeah. But for us it was like 2 years after we started playing. It was just out of the blue. He just decided he didn't want us playing it anymore. :(

We couldn't even run applications that weren't on a whitelist; they'd just be killed off instantly. Only the ports required for basic net surfing (when it actually decided to work) were open and right click was disabled. Good stuff.

Reminds me of my old school, with whitelists and disabled right clicks......until I found the admin password, opened regedit, removed the restrictions and whitelists, and installed whatever.

Good times.....

Add me to your friends list if you haven't already. It's a lot more fun to play with people from The Maw and people I know than random noobs.

Sometimes booting in safe mode is an easy way to get past the restrictions on school PC's, but no one at my school cares about computer games. They are all satisfied with the stupid little ipod and flash games on the internet. My friend's school had Halo on the computers though.

Also, my school has keylogging software that records every keystroke (overkill anyone?) put into the computer. That's why I never log into anything like e-mail or ebay at school.
