My friend just got a new ibook with Halo on it and i am reading that we need to download 1.5.2 in order to be able to use wireless controllers (Xbox-esque) Mad Katz, Nyko, etc... with the bluetooth and wireless capabilities of the G4 ibook. We went to Macsoft's website and tried to use the 1.5.2 Updater.sitx. But the Mac needs an application to download it to. Is that the right file to download? Is there another place to download that makes this possible?

1) I would like to know what the best graphics scheme is? 800x600? 1600x1200?

2) has anyone seen any wireless xbox S, or 360 controllers available for mac/ibook?

3) if anyone has any ideas about how to work, download Halo Custom Edition, the maps, creating maps and so forth please post below too. :)

4) any info regarding xbox controllers for Mac/ibook wireless or not. And if they are any good...Names?

Thanks im going to be buying soon.

Don't drink to excess– You might shoot at tax-collectors... and miss

You may need UnStuffit. I would think a new Mac would come with this free utility. Do a search on your HD to see if you have it or if it's on one of the installer discs as an "extra".

If not google "stuffit". With that you'll find the mfgr. On their website you'll find a free download of UnStuffit for OS X.

You may get a dialog box when you double-click the file you downloaded, asking you what program to handle it with. Tell it to use Unstuffit. In the future it will automatically use that program on that type of file.

It could also be that the file got scrambled in downloading. If so, try again.
