I run slayer 50 high.
most people do now. i think OP is meaning when you first started and were struggling for that 45 in lone wolves.
... well that was my experience anyway
Don't even get me started on LW. That playlist, getting a 50 in it? Damn near impossible. Once you hit 40 you're screwed. You'll breeze past everything else yet once at 40, you're drafted into the big 50 games.
Not fun. Albeit what I liked about the H3 ranking system was that if you were in the 40's or above, you had the potential to play against pros.
I stopped when I hit 42 and people still kept voting objective.
I stopped at 47 when I won 20 straight games and didn't go up. I feel bad for my friend though. he has something crazy like 60 wins on his 48 in LW and it won't move.
This is not true. If you actually did win 20 games in a row from 48 YOU WILL GO UP. There are 3 areas you might be making a mistake. First off, you can't consider getting 2nd or 3rd places in lonewolves winning. Secondly, if you keep beating lower levels you won't really gain much level exp. however, if you lose to them you will lose (and I mean 2nd/3rd place ) ALOT. Now lastly, the most common error. I think that you might be BOOSTING with friends or playing the same kids over and over again. The games stop counting after the 3rd game so obviously if you win 20 or 1000 games you will still not level up. Also you have to play same level or higher leveled ppl to level up. So now say some one night you keep matching some idiot level 45 kids who never stop searching, don't expect to level up if you beat them 20 games in a row. I got from a 49 to a 50 with 6 1st place wins. I think I placed 2nd and 3rd too somewhere in between. if you dont believe me you can go bungie stalk me but that will be quite brutal.
