Someone explain to me what happens at the end of the book, where the achilla controls 5 of the halos and Activate( i think)
and then Bornstellar meets the librarian and to the last Precursor part.
Someone explain to me in a simple way what happens.
I don't believe i got the ending right

Basically... Menedict Bias shows up, says "lolz ur r dedz" and takes control of 5 of the 12 halo rings. The forerunners start to attack the halo rings, and the halo rings attack them and born and co. escape. They then go to the ark where born meets the librarian who is technically his wife since he is basically now the Didact since he has his memories/knowledge. With the last precursor it reveals that the forerunners killed the precursors. This hasn't been confirmed though.

Mendicant Bias shows up during the trial of the Master Builder and takes control of five of the Halo rings and battle opens between the Forerunners and the Sentinels. Six of the Halo rings flee the battle and make it safely to the Ark, Bornstellar/Didact and those other Forerunners in his shuttle get to the Ark as well with the wreck of a Halo ring and meet the Librarian. The Didact's memories and Bornstellar effectively merge and Born basically becomes the Didact and remembers the words of the Prisoner/Last Precursor.

I would assume that the ring Mendicant Bias had that had been missing for so long is probably Delta Halo (the one in Halo 2), and I think it's pretty obvious that the Last Precursor is somehow connected to the Gravemind, so Mendicant's Ring being Delta Halo makes a lot of sense.

Thanks that clears a lot of it.
Hmm The last precursor reminds me of the grave mind too.
Didn't the grave mind died in H3?

The Gravemind was assumed KIA after the firing of the new Alpha Halo.

Cryptum takes place in 100000 BC, Halo 3 takes place in 2553. Just because the Gravemind died in Halo 3 doesn't mean he can't exist in Cryptum.
