Looks like there is some tension between Ahmadinejad and Ayatollah Khamenei.

They'll just replace the Iranian President with someone more manageable. The Ayatollah is the real power in the country anyway.

This is old but Ahmedinejad got smacked in the face by Revolutionary Guard Chief of Staff Mohammed Ali Jafari because he wanted more social and personal freedoms.

Not surprising, they broke the siege, not retook the entrie city. To my knowledge Gaddafi troops were still occupying the western suburbs

captured troops say they were ordered to retreat but to prolong it and do as much damage as possible as they did so. it took 3 days of retreating from the city centre to retreat to the western suburbs, probably another day to leave the city and another to retreat past their artillery positions at the rate they are giving up ground.

Why are China warning us?

Because the UK sent military advisers to libya to help the rebels. And china thinks that thats against the UN mandate.

I dont really see China and Russias problem though, the gaddafi regime clearly needs to go and its not like China and Russia are paying for the missiles or drones we are using in libya

they are covering their asses, if this suddenly turns into an occupation like Iraq they want the world to know they had nothing to do with it.

however, not sure why they are focusing on Britain on this one, The French, Qatari, Canadians and British have all sent military advisers.

as many NATO airstrikes hit the Libyan Capital of Tripoli, loyalist forces have uncovered hidden AAA sites and have been returning heavy fire.

Reports from captured soldiers suggest that some loyaist soldiers are replacing their fatigues with civilian clothes, and simply leaving Misrata.

Not long till the rebels are able to push the rest of gaddafis forces out

US predator drones under NATO control have been used to carry out close in attacks on Gaddafi forces inside of Misurata over the weekend. The smaller profile of the craft made it easier to manoeuvre within the streets of Misurata, and carry out strikes with no collateral damage. As for the retreating forces, they are being bombed by Canadian and British fighter craft as they make a run for the artillery positions outside of the city.

pretty well, there are mile stones to be reached first. The rebels in Ajdabiya said they were making a push to the oil town of Brega to retake it, witch would effectively give them a direct and clear route to Misurata to supply and stockpile there. at that point they would make a push for Tripoli likely with in a week. assuming it all goes to plan.

I dunno, Gaddafi has more civilian support in Tripoli. It could either be that everyone in Tripoli think gaddafi is a hero [libya state TV says he is and so the people might believe it] or it could be that only a small number of people like gaddafi in tripoli and they are just scared of being murdered in their beds.

The loyalist foreign minister says they are halting their fighting in Misurata to let Tribal leaders enter the city and negotiate with the rebels, he also said that if the Rebels don't surrender within two days the Tribesman will fight them in the place of the army.

PERSONAL ADDENDUM: i see this going the way of the tribesman reinforcing the rebels.

I wouldn't be so quick to doubt that gadaffi really does have supporters. Patriotism does stupid things sometimes. If that is the case, what do?

You have a point. We can expect more firepower, ambushes, and that thing he does when he puts the loyalist military next to civilians. Theres also chemical warfare, better technology, fear mongering and as mentioned elsewhere, civilian support.
