Al Jazeera aired footage of what appear to be injured soldiers receiving aid from civilians in Syria, reportedly after they refused orders to shoot at protesters and were fired upon by loyalist units. The network warned it could not independently verify the authenticity of the footage but claimed that it came from a "reliable source".

Depending on how you look at it, you might say there already is one. Now we just need to make it a revolution.

At least there's some humanity in that faction. Why the hell can't the Libyan and Syrian armed forces show the same responsibility that the Ejyptians did?.

the fighting on the Libyan border spilled into Tunisia. i'm sure the UN has a view about a civil war spilling into another country.

gunman kills 4 Syrian soldiers in Damascus Source . watch that be the opening of a armed uprising...

Related to what you guys said, Tunisian troops are engaged in fighting with Gadaffi troops.

It is understood the Tunisian security forces have disarmed the Libyan soldiers and driven them back across the border.

Lol well I assume they did kill some of them. The ones who surrendered were disarmed and sent back.

Also, the Border crossing has changed hands multiple times and it is currently in the hands of the rebels.

NATO has bombed loyalist forces around Zintan. Gaddafi's forces did not bombard Zintan today after the air strikes.

"What's up baby, how are you doin'? I hate the sound of my own voice and I been invited here to distract my self from the fact that I wrote all of this garbage."

What if Tunisia goes into Libya out of sheer pissitivity? Is that remotely possible?

Well that's the thing about the Tunisia situation, Al Jazeera believes that Libyan troops reaching Tunisian towns underlines the fact that Tunisia doesn't seem to be able to protect their own citizens.

Maybe Tunisia will go in as sort of a morale boost for their people, showing that they will go fight whoever harmed their citizens.

That's an equal possibility too. It might also inspire people to help out fellow pro-democracy protesters.

Lmao looks like China and Russia are not the favourites of the week. Good on the Syrians.

lesson here, if you Veto now you will most likely look just as bad as America after the Iraq invasion

and if that happens to China, they lose Economic Relations. and Russia loses countries they sell weapons to.

basically the ties they want to keep are being destroyed by them. Irony

they need to wake up

more airstrikes near Gaddafi's compound, working on confirmation

Sanctions have now been enacted on Syria for there actions, and there are still reports of heavy violence in the country.

Tripoli is threatening to attack any aid ships entering Misrata again

Syrians are also fleeing over into Turkey to escape violence now.

Gaddafi said he is prepared to enter a ceasefire but that it must involve all sides and not only his own forces who are fighting rebels in the east. Speaking live on state TV in the early hours of Saturday, he said:

[Libya] is ready until now to enter a ceasefire ... but a ceasefire cannot be from one side. We were the first to welcome a ceasefire and we were the first to accept a ceasefire ... but the crusader NATO attack has not stopped.

Lol, does anyone else find this funny? They made and broke 3 ceasefires and they expect us to belive them again? Its like the boy who cried wolf

Gaddafi seems to be getting more desperate with more talks for ceasefire.
