an update on the Norwegian withdraw from Libya. The Norwegian planes will stay until at least June 24th, and their government wants to make it clear they still support the campaign but lack the financial capacity to continue the mission. They also said that come June 24th the situation will be reassessed and they may simply reduce their participation or participate with support troops rather than attack aircraft which are significantly cheaper to maintain.

It was originally thought that the Norwegian government was pulling support due to Canada, Britain, France, and the US(the big four in the operation) making it clear they will not pullout until Gaddafi steps aside.

I just heard that Daraa is completely cut off, and stadiums and schools are being used as prisons.

it would be ideal that we intervene there as well. it's frustrating to see how Syria is going.

The UN has called for a ceasefire every day since the begining of this, The Rebels won't even talk unless Gaddafi says he will step down, and Gaddafi forces refuse to abide by a ceasefire all together.

An ICC warrant for the arrest of Gaddafi will be issued at the end of this month. The delay is to allow him time to go into exile, and end the fighting earlier.

in securing the airport in Misurata the rebels have gotten a hold of a large number of working Tanks, artillery and mortars left behind by frantically retreating Gaddafi forces. The Rebels are currently fighting a winning battle in the airbase beside the airport

Rebels reject the offer of a cease fire when after Gaddafi agreed to halt the fighting, he ordered the firing of 25 Grad missiles into the town of Ajdabiya. They rebels say they will reject any further ceasefire offers, as Gaddafi can not be trusted.

Gaddafi has said he is not making any effort to stop people from leaving the country by boat, authorizing overloaded, unseaworthy ships to leave ports with the intent of creating humanitarian issues and distracting NATO forces who are being forced to run rescue operations for these migrants who are in a perilous situation. He will continue to promote these people sailing to their deaths in protest of the NATO airstrikes, saying that while they try to save people in his country they are forcing him to essentially kill the people he lets out to sea in unsafe conditions.

The rebels have successfully taken the Town of Zintan, they lost this town almost a month and a half ago, just after their big push from Ajdabiya
