Why does this worry me?

Syria has a lot of power in the middle east to my understanding , and i have assumed that any Military intervention there would cause a military response from Iran.

Washington post article on the Slaughter in Syria

seems Syria started because of a group of 15 10-15 year old boys making anti-regime graffiti...

Yes I'm fairly young. No, that doesn't mean I'm automatically dumber than you or have less life experience, thats just generally the case. I am not your general case.

Don't worry about it, you get points for the other stuff. ^_^ The thing is, Russia isn't really "diplomatic". What they don't care for they get rid of.

Russia FTW?

Also, were do you always get such awesome coups Dragon?

France said on Friday it was working with those close to Muammar Gaddafi to try to convince him to leave power as well as stepping up military pressure via the NATO-led mission in Libya.

Alain Juppe, the French foreign minister told Europe 1 radio:

He is more and more isolated. There have been more defections around him and we have received messages from his close entourage which has understood that he must leave power.

Also, Yemen president has been wounded in attack but is now alive and well

Whatever happens, the current regime should be tried for crimes against humanity if there is enough evidence to show the unjustifiable murders of the kids.

The only thing I don't get is that the U.S/NATO/U.N wants to help the Arab world, but they're only doing stuff in Libya. To me it seems like Syria needs some help.

Politics are jamming [REDACTED] up. Russia keeps changing their views, and China is just plain being a stone wall.

VERY irritating.

Pseudo-Off Topic: You should put the words United Nations Security Council in the OP, not UNSC, after all this is a Halo website...
And Syria's leader is Al-Assad? Uh-oh.

The UN should not be taking sides, it should be enforcing peace by punishing attacks and pushing both sides into negotiations.

Apache's don't go hunting targets all by their themselves, British special forces are on the ground.

Proof? To me, that sounds like conjecture, especially when the UN resolution expressly forbids countries sending foot soldiers in. They are supporting the Libyan rebels, there's your ground forces.

That's been tried, especially in Libya. However, any time one side agrees to peace talks, it falls through within a day
