LIBYA
Loyalist have planted a mine field in the western mountains slowing the rebel advance until the land mines can be removed.
The laying of minefields is against interntional law according to Human Rights Watch.

The US senate approved a 'limited involvement' in the Libyan Campaign today. The US will continue in a support role and reduce their strike capacity by 50%

Britain has commited to a campaign of 'indefinate length' saying they will stick it out to the end.

NATO lost a Helicopter survailance drone, but has not lost any attack helicopters at all, contrary to Gaddafi's claims. The drone marks the second NATO aircraft lost in the campaign, and still maintains a zero casualties rate in Libya.

in a surprising development, China seems to be leaning towards putting it's political weight behind the Libyan Rebels, after a discussion between the Rebel leader and Chinese diplomats.

YEMEN
The Yemeni president is expected to arrive in the country within the week acording to his cabinet. Saudi Arabia holds to what it said before about Salah not leaving.

SYRIA
A human rights group reports that refugees who try to return home in Jisr al-Shughur are being shot as they arrive

Protesters have started putting red paint in fountains all over the country representing the blood Assad has shed.

Canada's Prime Minister said yesterday: "Canada has joined Turkey in saying the president has a choice: he can reform or go. The status quo is no longer acceptable."

Russia has been accused of making an alliance with the Syrian Regime by NATO. This comes as Russia says they will talk 'political sanctions' in a UN resolution, but 'direct intervention is 'out of the question'

Libya conflict: Nato loses drone helicopter

America really needs to check its products they lost a drone helicopter and 2 fighter jets already to malfunctions. Oh and blown up civilians.
Those drones are really cheap knockoffs. This is the grandaddy of all unmanned weaponry.
Are you a fan of fly pasts of any occasion and not just shooting things?

Show me.

Lancaster Bombers... them is some sexy planes.

I have a little place for them in my heart. I spent all of highschool years in 'Lancaster Flight' (flight is what my homerooms were called, we had some pretty heavy military influence there)

If this is true then the U.S. will most likely get involved. Especially since we're the only country that can stand against them in terms of military might.

more fuel to the Russian fire. Scorched Earth is their tactic.

That said, a scorched earth policy against civilians is just wrong. making the land unlivable for innocent people is just plain wrong.
