LIBYA
The Misuratan Rebels have pushed into the city centre of Zlitan and have repelled a Gaddafi counter-attack. 5 rebels were killed in the fighting, and 65 were wounded, fighting for the western half of the city still continues.
Gaddafi's son has said that even if a cease fire is called, they will not stop, they will continue until the have 'liberated' all of Libya.
TNC law enforcement has started a formal investigation of the assassination of Younes, and has said whoever is accused will be given a Jury trial.
Norway has withdrawn the last of it's fighters from the Libyan Campaign.
the Benghazi based rebels in Brega say to expect a 'surprise' in the coming days, while there were 8 major explosions in Tripoli, when no airstrikes occurred, suggesting there are active rebel cells in the city.

SYRIA
Despite the Holiday of Ramadan, which protesters had hoped to use as a time of mass protest, the Syrian regime has decided to intensify their crackdown.
The recent crackdowns have shaken China and Russia's resolve of 'no intervention', and a UN intervention resolution has been tabled once again.
The US has said even if there is a military intervention in Syria they simply can not afford to be involved. Their role can merely be economic and diplomatic.
YEMEN
In Yemen there have yet to be clashes between government forces and protesters during the Ramadan period, clashes between the tribes backing the protesters and the military.
The Government's control of the military has faltered. They have now accused the Military of trying to perform 2 unsuccessful coups in the past week.
Fierce battles between tribesmen and loyal military forces continue to fight for control of southern cities.
Saleh has called for a ceasefire, begging that the holy month of Ramadan could be used for peaceful negotiation and mediation in the country.
EGYPT
The military has broken up protests in Tahrir square at the request of the shop keepers who set up market there, saying that the protests have put a stop to their business. The military moved tanks into the area, but fired no shots. Protests in other areas have been left untouched. The military said they agreed to move protesters out of Tahrir square only because the vast majority had already left and moved to other locals.
Mubarak will be put on trial in Cairo, regardless of his medical condition, the military said.
