SYRIA
The Regime attacked a refugee camp just outside Latakia last night. At least 10,000 people(almost half Palestinians) have vanished according the the UN Relief and Works Agency that ran the camp.
The Palestinian President, a long time ally of al-Assad has denounced him as having committed crimes against humanity with this act.
With it's military buffer in place, the Turkish government has given al-Assad an ultimatum saying that the killing must stop and never publicly decreed the 'or else' part.
Egypts former President, Mubarak, has issued a statement saying that al-Assad should step down and bow to the will of his people.
The UN in it's entirety has withdrawn all their non-essential staff from Syria.
The Turkish government has stated that if the Syrian Military operations continue, it will be a threat to the entire region and Turkey will no longer be able to be militarily indifferent
LIBYA
The rebels have successfully cut of Tripoli's supply lines. Taking Zawiyah has allowed them to cut off the roads to Tripoli and stop the flow of oil. For the sake of the people in Tripoli they have left the water pipelines open.
In Zawiyah Gaddafi forces still hold only one building: the hospital.
The Misuratan Rebels have gone around the stronghold of Sirte and moved into the town of Al-Heisha to cut off the final supply line to Tripoli, effectively laying a passive siege on the capital.
YEMEN
The Tribal forces fighting the government arrested 7 al-Qeada members and turned them over to the government, in a show of good faith for the people.
