Syrian regime: Troops get rid of 'terrorist groups' in 2 cities

Russia 'still supplying weapons to Syria'

NOW the U.S. can intervene since Russia has clearly chosen a side. What will you do Obama?

if the report is true they just shot themselves in the foot. NATO is probably preparing battleplans as we speak.

well seems like the new Turkish Military Leaders are pushing an intervention in Syria.

good to see the Libyan Rebels now have Gaddafi in a Siege, they could just sit and wait for him to break or the people in Tripoli to rise up.

SYRIA
With it's military buffer in place, the Turkish government has given al-Assad an ultimatum saying that the killing must stop and never publicly decreed the 'or else' part.

oh, look, there it is
The Turkish government has stated that if the Syrian Military operations continue, it will be a threat to the entire region and Turkey will no longer be able to be militarily indifferent

two seperate statements, it was implied that military action was the 'er else' but while the logical conclusion is to link the statements, they are from different times and different people within the government. we can't make straight up assumptions.

Damn, that video is really sad.

In Libya, rebel fighters have taken control of Garyan, a city 80km south from Tripoli. Also rebels say that a oil pipeline that supplies oil and gas to Tripoli has been turned off.

Also, in the strategetic city of Zawiya, rebels have advanced but have been held back so far. Gaddafis forces have snipers on the hospital and are using people are human shields to stop NATO bombing them

On the note of Zawiya, the rebels hold all the supply routes for the city. Gaddafi forces are cornered in the hospitals.

The Syrian Ambassador to the United Nations went on CNN's AC360 and completely denied any claims that they were killing civilians. Instead, he said that they were gangs.

He also said that the US was taking the side of these gangs, which are associated with Al Qaeda.
