Alrighty guys I'm back after a long time away from a decent chunk of time to keep this updated, due to the week long interuption since the last update from anyone, this will be my last post on this Thread.

LIBYA
All but entirely under the command of the NTC, Libya is free, The Rebel forces have pushed into the city of Sirte, the final stronghold of the Gaddafi Regime, and while fighting rages on, and NATO continues to support the NTC, The people of Libya are now free.

SYRIA
Assad's Regime is crumbling before his eyes as entire units of his military are defecting now and protecting protestors.

YEMEN
Sadly fighting in Yemen rages on as it has for the past few months with no end in sight.

Thanks for paying attention to these major world events, a country's journey to freedom requires the support of the entire world, and even just paying attention helps.

It's been a great run, See you all in the forums!

Al Jazeera Reports that they have found large sums of unguarded yellowcake in Libya. For those unfamiliar, you can use yellowcake to make nuclear weapons. Perhaps even more disturbing is the fact that some of the yellowcake is missing.

Saudi Arabia needs to have it's regime toppled.

Sadly, nothing will get done until we stop buying the oil. Oil corrupts.

america will become the new oil country. They'll scar the land with drilling instead of trying to utilize alternative energy after the Middle East's oil runs out. The Government is just saving all of that oil for a rainy day.

Oil is not the only problem. While it certainly is big, it is not the only one.

The sound of iron shocks is stuck in my head, The thunder of the drums dictates
The rhythm of the falls, the number of dead's the rising of the horns, ahead
From the dawn of time to the end of days I will have to run, away
I want to feel the pain and the bitter taste of the blood on my lips, again

Bravo

Thousands of Surface to Air Missiles missing in Libya

Syria: troops storm in to crush key rebel city

it appears our part in all this is at an end, but the revolution continues in Syria and Yemen. i know whatever the outcome in all these countries, the effects will be felt over the coming years. i hope we all remember what we have seen over the last few months, for we have seen the best and the worst humanity has to offer.

Check my masterpiece here.

Lybian rebels are tied to Al-Qaeda. The area of Libya where the rebels originate from was one of the largest recruiting grounds for Al-Qaeda. Our government backed the same people we were trying to stop. Here.Theres other evidence as well. Rather than admit the government made a mistake they just ignore it and keep going. Good stuff ><

Ah freedom. Look past humanitarian rhetoric and look at what is ACTUALLY happening.

Libya is hardly "free." The "rebels" are al Qaeda. Not free in my view or theirs.

Are you actually supporting Gaddafi or saying that both sides in Libya suck?

I was prepped to let this thread drop. but this comment needed to be addressed.

the Rebels and al Qaeda are not linked. They stand for totally different things one is Liberal, the other Ultra Conservative.

If al Qaeda was in charge, they would not have adopted the Canadian Bill of Rights as a model for the new constitution.

some of them had ties to al Qaeda, or even were linked directly, I'll give you that. But that does not mean the rebels ARE al Qaeda. Or even supported by.

I'm 100% certain that there are al Qaeda supporters or people linked to al Qaeda in the US. Does that mean that the entire American public is al Qaeda? no, of course not, so why does the fact that there are some al Qaeda fighters in the Libyan public make them all al Qaeda?

Thank for addressing that Phoenix. Handled it much better than I would have. Either way, more news: The NTC has Sirte surrounded and are confident they are nearly done. Only time will tell if Gaddafi is there. Top US general also said that NATO might begin to wrap up their combat mission in Libya by next week. However, drones and other unmanned aircraft would still patrol the area.

The leader of the NTC vows to step down after the revolution is over. Additionally no member of the NTC will be allowed to be part of the post-revolution government.

Syrian opposition forms the Syrian National Council (SNC) as a common front against the Syrian Government. The SNC appears to fulfill a role similar to the NTC.

We're wasting our time on these countries, At first I agreed with Nato doing what they do best but then I realise most of the people in these countries are intolerant -blam!-s. Look at Egypt now, burning isreali embassies and attacking Churches. Just wait, its going to be happening in Libya and other countries soon.

They may have been under a dictatorship but I think that is exactly what they needed to be kept under control.
