Now its just a matter, do we have the endurance to keep fighting gadaffi and to eventually beat him?

I wish the BBC would stop telling us gaddafi propganda though, i know its meant to be a fair even handed station, but i dont want to hear that rubbish.

I think what gaddafi will do next is to start putting civilians near the tanks and air defenses we are bombing to stop us. And if we do still bomb them, he will show the bodies to the news and talk about evil western forces

AlJazeera spits out the Pro-Gaddafi stuff, but they are also showing how it isn't true with supporting pictures and video showing that the rebels are telling the truth

Well Gaddafi is sadistic and needs to go. It's a shame the UN couldn't have helped a week earlier when the rebels were in a good position.

China and Russia are the biggest threat to humanity. You can't ever trust a Communist Nation like China. I still think that the Soviet Union runs deep in the Russian Federation. I highly believe that Russia is a closet Communist state, bent on trying to rid the world of western power.

Russia just doesn't want to be seen as supporting the west doing ANYTHING to do with a country that has oil.

China however opposes everything the west does

I never see anti communist propaganda. We already know that communism fails. History shows it fails.

Please, this thread isn't about anti- or pro- communism. it is an accounting and discussion about uprisings in the middle east and Africa.

lets stay on that topic and show our support for the oppressed who are finally rising up to claim freedom.

also lets throw in there that both communism and democracy are free styles of government with no oppression in their pure forms.

Russia and China are not supporting this for two different reasons, Russia because they don't want to be seen as invading the middle east again(same as Germany) and China, because it is against the west intervening in the middle east AGAIN.

nothing here about communism or democracy. lets leave it at that and turn discussion back to Libya, Yemen, Tunisia, Egypt, Bahrain, Morocco, and other revolutions in the Arab world.

Sorry about that. Anyway, I do think that Qaddafi should be scared crapless. But due to his horrible illness he's not. Although the Coalition should step in some more and bomb more of their targets. we need to find ammo depots and destroy them.

US to reduce the amount of forces contributed to the Coalition 'Shortly' now that forces from other countries have arrived

I know that most Americans are proud when we take the lead in stuff like this, but I'm more proud when the rest of the international community does so instead. I'm more of an isolationist.

Honestly as a Canadian i'm proud when we contribute to this stuff, though i'm even more proud when we send in Peacekeepers wearing the Blue helmet of the UN or Peacemakers wearing the White helmet of NATO(both were Canadian inventions) These groups truly show my pride for my country more than direct military action

To be fair, in the eyes of a British national, my understanding of the matter is that it was us and the French who lead the talks and pressed for this resolution, it was certainly David Cameron and French counterparts who spoke most harshly against the regime in the early days. Of course the U.S has a much larger military presence within the region, but they didn't openly support the resolution until the day of the vote. Understandable perhaps as Obama doesn't want to be seen getting deeply involved in another conflict in the middle east, hence the trip to Brazil, and re-inforcement that this is an International issue which bare few simalarities to Iraq etc etc.
