Rebels loot the crashed american fighter for as many parts as possible to boost its armoury.
not true, the Americans bombed the remains so no arms could be recovered
Well i am watching a recording of whats going on.

So they WHERE looting it before it was destroyed.
American fighters have a fail-safe that fries all the equipment inside the cockpit the moment the ejection system activates. Looting is pointless.
bombs and heavy machine guns can be looted still.

just one part on the outskirts, specifically the Hospital and the areas withing the snipers view around it.

Well that's good. At least the rebels still hold the city. If Gadaffi integrated his forces with the city then coalition wouldn't be able to hit him.

Plus if the UN sends medical equipment, then either the rebels get supplied or Gadaffi hits the shipment escalating the conflict further, give the UN more reason to get directly involved. That's IF the UN sends in supplies.

I seriously doubt that any of those things are in working order. The condition of the plane was well.....it looked like roadkill.
there was obviously something intact or the US wouldn't have bombed the remains

Where'd this come from?
Mass Effect quote. swap the word 'Libyan' for 'Quarian' and you have it word for word

It's probably just protocol in case something survived the crash and failsafe.

Really?! I've never heard her say that before.

In ME2 if you don't sex her up good and you ask her how the ship is doing she'll give you that response.

Some info about the coalition leadership:

France's foreign minister said NATO will not take political leadership of the international coalition's mission in Libya, but will play a role in planning and operations to enforce the United Nations-backed no-fly zone. The minister, Alain Juppe, said a commission composed of foreign ministers from the participating coalition states will make the political decisions.

I'll put that in the OP.

Interesting point here, is that as the current NATO commander of the Libyan military Action is a Canadian General, effectively putting Canada into command over military operations, however they will answer to a political group of coalition members.

That was 10:41 a.m. Wednesday ET in case you need the time. Yeah is kind of an interesting predicament, but I think the Canadians won't have a problem with this leadership. Enforcing the laws of the international community is what they're good at lol.

What I find interesting is that Gadaffi ministers are asking the international community how to get out of this but at the same time Gadaffi went on Libyan TV last night vowing to continue the fight.
