The Muslim Brotherhood(a peaceful social movement), has thrown it's full support behind Democratic reforms in the Arab world. They even have made a point of saying that the Sharia should not be the defacto constitution of Islamic countries. Rather that constitutions should be written in the way of western nations, written by the people for individual countries. They have called for other countries to push for democracy.
Nice, i thought they where the bad guys?

Oh well nice to see some people see sharia law as a bad thing along with the rest of us. It seems the west really does have it right in the way of freedom of government despite the economy issues.

They just want democracy so they can get elected and change the countries to the way they want. Right now they are banned in many countries. They still are the bad guys and should not be trusted.

Muslim Brotherhood has always been a big social movement pushing for peace. they never even have interfered with Israel they are so hell bent on peace, there is an underlying fear of them however, as they want to unify the Arab world

I wouldn't say that is true at all. There are many factions within the Muslim Brotherhood and some of them want the downfall of the West while others are moderates. Regardless, this is not the topic so I'll stop short of my true feelings.

Jordanian government spokesman Taher Edwan says that Jordan's role will be limited to a humanitarian one in the no fly zone. Jordan has agreed to provide logistical support to the Libyan effort.

The United Arab Emirates said Tuesday it will participate, but only in providing humanitarian assistance. Toward that end, the country has sent a ship and two planes with basic relief supplies, the country's news agency said.

That's two more Arab nations supplying aid to the Coalition.

i'm struggling to find some truly new news on this situation. it seems to be limited to the general AAA fire over Tripoli and the odd explosion, again with the media being denied access to where the explosions were from.

He said he was adding it a few pages back. Just need more info on it. It's a closed country so its hard to get info out.

Well not much seems to happen at this time of day. It's night time in Tripoli now so all you're going to see is diplomats talking and Tomahawks launched (AAA fire in Tripoli most likely).

As long as there is news about the Middle East and people to post it then no, it wont die. I don't know why you threw a 'we' in there.

Not enough people are posting in it, and eventually it will be buried under tons of Justin Bieber hate threads and zombie threads. I think its a shame, because whats happening in the middle east is important, but i think its inebitable. Most people already know about the Libyian situation

and it seems Turkey seized cargo of a Iranian Plane bound for Syria, this was because it violated UN Sanctions placed on Iran. the cargo was automatic rifles, rocket launchers and mortars.

Now THAT is interesting. Was the ammo and arms going to help the protesters or the government?
