Do they have cows in the Middle East?

So Yemen's leader has reported that he won't leave, but will try to seek consensus with protestors.

However there have been reports that Yemen's president and the country's top general are hashing out a settlement in which both men would resign within days.

So who knows what will happen. Still no info on that large Yemeni protest today but I'll look it up.

Gabonese diplomat Jean Ping, the chief of the AU Commission, says that the aim of the African Union's efforts in Libya is to facilitate dialogue between the rebels and Gaddafi's regime and "should end with the election of democratic institutions," Reuters reports.

Meanwhile the Coalition is targeting Gadaffi armor and artillery outside Ajdabiyah where Loyalist forces still hold two positions. The rebels are able to move about within the city however ad have described destitute conditions for the few citizens remaining there.

Gamers don't die, they just go offline.

"...and the fanboys will unite to slay the Call of Duty threat for the greater good of gaming."

Also, regarding those two American F-15 pilots that crashed, the Daily Mail says that a group of US Marines killed six pro-democracy fighters who were trying to help the pilots during a rescue mission. Al Jazeera claims otherwise that pro-democracy fighters weren't killed by US Marines and that the pilots were taken to a hotel where they were given a phone to call their Commander.

In Syria there are fresh protests today in Deraa, Damascus and Hama. In Damascus (the capital of Syria), hundreds marched on King Faisal Street chanting: "Peaceful, Peaceful, God, Syria, Freedom". So far 40 have been killed including 25 who were shot by security forces on Wednesday.

I'm more inclined to believe Al Jazeera on what happens in the Middle East. Besides, the Rebels don't seem to be holding any grudges. They threw a thank you parade after this incident.

The MOD released footage of the RAF hitting Gadaffi's tanks today.

Its funny, the BBC news reporters were taken by gaddafis forces to a site where apparently [lol] a farm house was bombed by us and a 18 year old girl was killed. But the reporters saw that the holes in the wall were actually from an AK 47, the hole in the ground was small, and the gardener said that a 4 year old boy was killed, not a 18 year old boy.

Gaddafi fails

I would beleive the second version, as al-jazeera isn't all that pro-American at times, and here they are complementing American troops, soooooo....

Mike Lowery: [singing] Bad boys, bad boys what ya gonna do? What ya gonna do when we come for you?
[Marcus starts ad-libbing the first verse]
Mike Lowery: Dude, you gotta learn the words.
Marcus Burnett: We usually only do the chorus

This is such a useful thread.

as of 20 Minutes ago the Rebels are now pushing to Brega

Brega was also a Battlefield during the second world war, as were many of these cities where fighting is presently going on
