I find this concerning. Is there any truth to the article? If so, it might behoove us to know who the rebels are before offering support.

It's funny, Turkey, and the French have been stressing that there is not a al-Qaeda link at all in Libya. It also would not make sense for al-Qaeda to support pro-democracy either, it is a polar opposite to their 'platform'

i don't believe there to be merit in that.

First Obama doesn't want this war and now he's saying we'll remain.

You watch his address to the public. He made it sound as if we would put ground troops if needed. Than went on to say it wouldn't be an overnight process and that creating a new government takes time, just look at iraq. I dont think he will commit ground troops.
Actually it would be NATO, not an individual nation. NATO already said it would put boots on the ground if it became necessary.

Let's backtrack to this for a second, don't you find if hilarious that at least one of Gadaffi's outrageous claims actually might be true. ^_^ I think it started snowing in Hell.
indeed, i still can't believe that al-Qaeda is supporting prodemocracy anywhere

Looks like the turning point of the war has been reached. Let's hope this will end soon and gas prices will start to come down. 26 MPGs just isn't cutting it.
