The Rebels have managed to push From Ajdabiya and back into Brega. Currently Fighting is taking place in Brega. This after Coalition planes attacked Gaddafi forces moving towards Ajdabiya.

America REALLY want to arm the rebels.

But they need training and this does not fall under the 1973 treaty.

This is getting out of hand.

It actually is covered under the RESOLUTION 1973, IF and only IF they can find a way of saying it will save civilians.

the resolution says that anything that can save civilians is acceptable

The arms embargo?

Plus what will these weapons be, surely the US won't arm them with their weapons will they?

It'll look really bad for them.

And I seen on the TV a crate from N.Korea marked as 'Forklift' parts.

It was actually rockets. For the Gadaffi forces.

the arms embargo is against Gaddafi, not the rebels.

America is the world's largest exporter of weapons, technically making it the worlds agest arm dealer

Obama has signed a covert secret order authorising the U.S to support rebel forces by arming them.

And this is on international news.

Not that secret is it.

Canada is the worlds largest producer of Military hadware, building ships and military vehicles for alot of countries. North America in general exports arms like mad.

however, we will not arm Gaddafi nor will any of the 40 countries opposing him

He's stalling for time, from the looks of it. I can't think of a reason for why he's stalling though.
