Yes I'm fairly young. No, that doesn't mean I'm automatically dumber than you or have less life experience, thats just generally the case. I am not your general case.

As there appears to be a lack of information regarding them, I've done a little digging on CJIRU:
CJRIU Canadian Military website

CJIRU Wiki article

David Pugliese. an ex-JTF-2 operator, speks about CJIRU

US confirms CIA in Libya[/quote]Along with two SEAL teams.

save SAS, JTF-2, and CIA; there seems to be a flood of Special Forces flooding into the Libya now.
indeed

there is now 3 British (SAS,SBS,MI6), 3 American (Delta,CIA,SEALS), and 4 Canadian (JTF-2,TFA,CJIRU,CSOR) groups now deployed

For further notice, MI-6 is not the proper name of British intelligence. If you could, try to reefer to them as the SIS (Special Intelligence Service)
NATO specifically said MI6 operatives. based on their website, they are two names for the same thing.
I'll assume that much like CSIS and the CIC, SIS used more in reference to bureaucratic end of the intelligence agency, MI6 used when referring to the operating arm while both being the same organization

Your probably right, though I believe its the other way around (bureaucratic is MI-6, SIS is operations), as several accounts by ex-SIS operators and Andy McNab's account of the SIS both state that operators in the field would become "agitated and/or annoyed when called/reffered to as MI-6", though in the end this is simply semantics, as both terms are correct.
Shall we go back on topic or no?

Just wanna say with all those special forces and the SAS and SBS working together this is going to be over in no time, all those special OPs could take on Gaddafi's army on their own.

We don't need an army down there.
You misunderstand their intentions. They're only on the ground as target painters for precision air strikes.
I know, but im sure one or two will be keeping an eye on the important people as well.

Just incase they get asked to take some out, i mean they where in libya finding targets BEFORE the no fly zone was passed. Or if they get the go ahead to fight side by side with the rebels they can clear a town/city within days without any heavy armour.

lolwut

How are small squads of special forces going to fight entire battles? That's just a crock.

SAS in Oman. 9 SAS vs 300+ soldiers. Guess who won.

Could I have a link to a wikipedia page, or the name of the battle so I can see for myself?

Battle of Mirbat

Not entirely relevant considering this was 40 years ago, and that the SAS troops (Who were also accompanied by 30-40 other troops, you neglected to mention) were defending a building, not trying to take an entire city. :/

JDAMS are the answer. And to the guy who said he'd be rich off of JDAMS, they weren't aiming for him. If anything they were using a 1000 lbs one not the 1 ton tank buster.

OT: I do think that we should just kill him already.

Remember Elk

I hear sweden is sending in 11 planes (i'm from sweden) but they are just going to be there to uphold the no flight zone.
