it has better tone the the gold one.
damn straight i play Jazz.

The arms embargo has been directly applied to ALL arms being sent to Libya.

This means NATO will stop all arms from entering the country, even if they come from allies.

It's official, Libya's border has officially trumped the U.S. in terms of security.

It's true, however you also have to remember that the US/Canada have the largest un-guarded boarder in the world.

ok guys i'm going to be rather distracted today, as my home country (Canada) in in full swing for an election campaign, and i'm going to be paying alot of attention to that for the day due to a few press conferences from party leaders here. As a 'responsible voter' i'm going to be watching that.

however, please expect updates here at 15:00, 18:00, and 20:00 Mountain Time.

if i stumble onto anything in Canadian News on Libya, I will post it as i come accross it.

Thanks again for the support :)

That's true but they are improving security, I had to cross back into the U.S. from Mexico a week ago and it was the slowest drive ever. Also the Canadian/U.S. border doesn't have snipers all over the place.
indeed, the Canada/US boarding is about as secure as crossing between EU countries.

you show a passport and they wave you through both ways.

then again Canada and the US have what many people consider to be the most secure political alliance in existence, so fear of attack from one onto the other is totally out of the question

i actually heard that tankers from the Iowa Air National Guard were sent for operations as well

i think the Coalition needs more help though, most countries are only sending about 6 planes each

i think the rebels will take anything that can destroy a tank at this point

i know on Free Libya Radio they were asking anyone who could operate a T-55 to report of duty

If there was any good pictures of loyalist tanks I'd be able to think at least 10 ways to kill em.

i would say find a way to knock out its view ports, seeing as these are old T-55 tanks

Well that's a choice by default, the problem is that even if they're using generation 1 T-55s it's a huge gamble when you don't know what kind of modifications have been made to it. The skies the limit with that kind of tank.
was thinking after i saw a picture of the rebels with a heard of goats...

The French cleared minefields in the second world war with herds of sheep. might be a solution to the minefield problems they are having.

1800 UPDATE

NATO airstrikes have been less effective in the past few days due to weather obscuring their systems.

To prevent another attack on Gaddafi's C&C compound in Tripoli, a mass wall of human shields has filled the area.

Now for sure ground troops are essential. There's no other way now.

I thought the rebels were stopping at Sirt?

for now that is their plan, however, they want Tripoli to be their capital. so eventually they need to take Tripoli in some way or another
