Libyian rebel shot himself while cleaning his gun. Not the most professional army.

And they are still being pushed back, rebels want to have a ceasefire where they keep the east, but loyalists can keep the west.

What im suprised at, is how gaddafis mercenaries can keep pushing forward despite out airstrikes. I mean these are modern planes, i thought they would have done more to demoralise or destroy the enemy

Well some "loyalist" soldiers are being threatened with death by fire for them and their families if they desert.

"What's up baby, how are you doin'? I hate the sound of my own voice and I been invited here to distract my self from the fact that I wrote all of this garbage."

I'm glad they're starting to try and make a professional army instead of a bunch of pissed off Libyans with AK-47s and pickups. I can't blame them though, after they had another retreat started because they were shelling themselves someone had to say "okay this -blam!- is getting old."

With a more organized army the Rebels have a fighting chance.

CNN has footage from Misrata, i will see if its on their site

the version on the site is a little to graphic to post here in my opinion.

Huh BBC reports that more disciplined and better armed rebels have been moving to the front line, helping out the rebels and rasing morale.

I read that he, or someone else in a similar position, had defected early on but hadn't been using his contacts. It looks like they were either just preparing, hadn't decided to defect yet or simply were waiting for the right time.

well i guess it was finally the right time then, considering there are reports of troops who actually look military on the Rebels front line now

so i guess no more Rebels RPG's going in the direction of civilians?

also, there are reports that a NATO airstrike hit some rebels

Yeah the reports are unclear though. Are you talking about the one the libyian doctor was interviewed about?

That's a shame. Unfortunately things are unclear in war. I hope not too many people were hurt.
