that would do more harm then good though, the UN's peacekeeping forces are already spread thin.

unconfirmed reports that the rebels are now on the offensive again, working on confirmation at this time

reports also state that this is a slow more measured advance as compared to others we have seen, this being because the Free Libyan Army is in the lead

again, this is so far unconfirmed

NATO is now requesting more strikes from US forces

Honestly though, I can't see these revolutions in the Middle East working out for Israel in the future. All bias aside, the toppling regimes in the Middle East were been paid off by the United States to keep them "Pro Israel." Hard to see a situation safe for Israel arising out of Middle Eastern democracy. This is why the United States supports democracy with words but supports dictatorship in action.

I hate to say it but this is true. And I also hate to say it but sometimes it's better for another country to suffer so we don't. Israel is an ally. But maybe we should support what our country stands for instead of what suits our needs best. Ah the idealism v.s. practicality conundrum.

It might be because of the professional army forces that are participating now.

haha I actually had a dream last night that I was fighting for the Libyan Rebels Professional forces, weird right?

Fun fact, alot of Libyan rebels are Taliban. Tali's been trying to use the rebellion in their favor like they did after the Soviet invasion so they can take control of Libya and paint a better reputation of themselves on everyone.

The Taliban are only in Afghanistan and Pakistan. You are thinking of Al-Qaeda. Even then there aren't many Al-Qaeda fighters in the rebel army.

Copy and pasted from Al Jazeera because this is too incredible to paraphrase.

9:23am Seif al-Islam and Saadi Gaddafi, two of the leader's sons, are floating a plan to end the conflict in Libya by removing their father from power, the New York Times has reported, citing "a diplomat" and a Libyan official.

The plan puts Seif and Saadi at odds with brothers Khamis and Mutassim, who are considered more hardliners. Khamis commands a brigade of troops specially intended to suppress internal unrest, and Mutassim is a national security advisor to his father.

One person close to Seif and Saadi told the Times: "They have hit so many brick walls with the old guard, and if they have the go-ahead, they will bring the country up quickly."

While it's true, as the Times' sources say, that the fighting has reached a stalemate, many Libyan rebels will be unwilling to accept Seif or Saadi staying in positions of power.

Rebels in Misurata and Benghazi are demanding more NATO intervention, saying that they are not doing enough, infact they are doing so little, that they may start to suspect NATO intentions.

Also, as the rebels begin to start Oil Production to gain funds to purchase food, and military arms, Gaddafi forces start employing a scorched earth policy, burning and shelling oil fields.
