Hundreds of protesters remain in central Cairo's Tahrir Square despite the military curfew, which began nearly an hour ago. People in the square are reporting a tense atmosphere on Twitter and, in the last few minutes, that some protesters have been whistling and banging on metal railings in apparent warning.

Yes I'm fairly young. No, that doesn't mean I'm automatically dumber than you or have less life experience, thats just generally the case. I am not your general case.

NATO intercepted and forced a Rebel Mig to land near Benghazi. No aggressive action was taken by either side.

What model of MiG are we talking about here?
Mig-23

Just be glad it wasn't a -29 or a -35. That would have been problematic.

it seems North Korea is telling its Nationals in Libya not to return

the problem here is that they are about a month or so late to say anything about that...

also, African Migrants trapped in Libya are being forced to fight for Gadaffi

They had Nationals in Libya? I didn't think anyone could leave the country.

This thread doesn't get enough traffic on the weekend.

we'll, i can assume that they are having protests considering he randomly fired 2 people

depends on your definition of "Random" though

also unconfirmed reports that the Rebels have held the line at Ajdabya(sp)

Mubarak made his 1st announcement since leaving office and claimed him and his family where not corrupt and had no foreign bank accounts with money. ( Forgot the term.)

Idk what term you're thinking of but either way Mubarak is full of bull-blam!-. No way that dude is innocent.

Yeah they've been having protests. Problem is we don't know if they're substantial or not because it's hard to get news out of there. This is the only indication of what's going on that I've seen in a while. Good to see him and the other leaders scared.

Good news. Egypt might simmer down because Mubarak has been summoned by the state prosecutor for questioning over alleged corruption and killings of protesters.

Yeah. Rebels dont think it will work either. One of them said something along the lines of "Gaddafi only understands destruction"

I think someone said that the regime wont negotiate without Gadaffi and the Rebels wont negotiate with him.

Ewww that's SO much reading. Do not want. I'm too tired for that right now.

Edit: There's no real details in there on what the deal would do.
