Luckiesnipes208, Mister Chief Artist!

So I was looking back at ODST the other day and realized it was actually a fantastic game. It promoted teamwork much better than any other halo and when I was playing campaign I actually got scarred when an enemy came at me. It was more challanging and had a gameplay like none other. ODST was probably the most unique halo unfortunatly due to lack of replay value it died.

Now I know there is a 0% chance of this but if 343 revamped ODST same unique experience but with a replayable multiplayer and longer campaign it could be the greatest halo of all time. Just IMO let me know what you think?

  • 03.18.2011 2:32 PM PDT

If they added it so you could for a level or two play as a spec ops grunt or elite that would be awesome here is dialouge they should use for a level of that

gipap: okay heres the plan the brutes control this building which is holding a sepratist prophet if we attack from here we can save said prophet who has vast data on the brutes and thier weaknesses any questions

bipip: nope lets get going because I have a bog grunty thirst.

Jack of all trades, master of none.

Yes. as long as it was all the same except campaign obviously and many a few EXTRA ff maps with the old one's and Multiplayer fire fight.

There's no stoppin' me!

UWG Great group, you should check it out.

BungieHUB

Hell yes!

  • 03.18.2011 7:38 PM PDT

Yes I definately would play it. It would need the new firefight varients from reach and its customizations, also a matchmaking system. The old one was too hard to find players and it needs to start off its campaign where it left off or do Bucks perspective on Harvest or Reach.

yes, definitely i <3 odst as how it is, cood do with some minor additions but either way i love the game, the story was awsum, just how it was more challenging to beat the campaign as you had to play more strategically cause Ur not big ol tank master chief, ur now human which for me is what halo series needed, a game where you not master chief or arbiter as main characters.

only thing i believe would have made this eve more epic, if there was a odst multiplayer where u play as odst's.thats just my opinion. it good for a change as u can see already.

well cheers.

If you can read this, that means I'm not a Shaolin monk...

yet.

I would.

  • 03.19.2011 2:51 PM PDT

Mreh.

If the multiplayer involved steering a drop pod into the battle field, then yes.

  • 03.19.2011 5:19 PM PDT

In memory of those fallen in the defense of Earth and her colonies.

March 3, 2553

Yes. I went back and played the entire thing through and loved it. I would love to see an ODST 2

  • 03.19.2011 5:48 PM PDT

play halo reach halo 3 and odst accepts all friend request

sure as long as there are lots and cool easter eggs like that master cheif one that said BELIVE

  • 03.19.2011 5:52 PM PDT

What spectagon are you in?

Yes I would play it, but only for a few days.

  • 03.19.2011 5:56 PM PDT

He could have done two things. He either meant A) 7 Bungie reference or B) He won't buy the game because ODST didn't have a Legendary edition.

  • 03.19.2011 6:18 PM PDT

WAR IS INFINITE PEOPLE TO FIGHT THEM ARE NOT

add unlimmited ammo crates in firefight like in reach and id buy it

  • 03.19.2011 6:38 PM PDT

il get you

diddnt like the campaign much but the firefight/firefight maps are much better than halo reach's firefight and i still play it(only for its firefight) then play reach campaign/matchmaking, i would buy it if it had an online firefight.

fuzzcat98

yes, matchmaking could be all coopretive though, i could not imagine a competitive matchmaking playlist on a second odst if there were to be one.

  • 03.20.2011 2:14 PM PDT

Halo is like rock paper scissors, but with military explosions and aliens

Hadto edit, realised i clicked the wrong forum by accident.

But while i'm here...

I loved ODST myself. And it's firefight will never have comparison to any future halos. It was great. i liked the challege it presented too.
