I was once playing Two Betrayals on Herioc with a gaming friend of mine. We got into the rooms inside the chasm and started to get a little bored. We decided to make a huge line of grenades to see if we could just about circle the whole room.

We first had to learn the maximum distance between grenades (both Frag and Plasma) that would set each other off. We did this by killing each other to place 2 grenades a certain distance, then throw a third before one. The live one blows one up, the question is: Does the next blow up?

We worked it out after about 10 minutes and set to work hoarding grenades (like Warthog Jumping). Then we began making the line.

We each got one grenade, I looked directly down and my mate killed me. Then I came back (with one grenade), checked where my fallen grenade was, my mate then stepped back to the optimum distance (looking down again) and then I killed him. We carried on doing this till we had a huge line gonig round the room.

Then we got the last grenade and threw it close to the starting grenade. It blew up, setting off each grenade in turn. It didn't work too well as the explosions soon ran away from us. Doesn't matter because it looked cool to see all those flying MC's.

Anyone else tried this?

no, i havnt dont that, but i do know another way of entertainment like this. on assault on the controll room get to the first elevator, go down. when you reach the bottom send the elevator back up, without you on it. if you have two people doing this good, if not, you can do it alone. both you and you buddie must have full grenades for this to be extra fun. while one stays at the top, the other player will jump off, scatering his grenades at the bottom when he dies. wait for him to re-spawn and the other player follows suit, withy the other always at the top to re-spawn the other. once you have enough bodies down in the shaft one person goes to get a grenade, throw it down the shaft and watch the bodies fly!

Yeah, I just like watching bodies fly in general. I played the very beginning of AotCR in co-op and managed to kill the Elites and Grunts without using my frags (same with my friend). We then had the idea to do a 'Warthog Jump' without the Warthog so there was just a mass of bodies. We did it so all the bodies were gonig to be blown off the edge. Lobbed in a live one and jumped off; living long enough to see about 50 MC's (and weapons) follow us.
