I wake up to find myself
After all these years
And where all the time has gone
Still seems so unclear

More like your second grade writing skills annoyed him away.

Which is why I stopped reading too.

truthfully whoever wrote this hit some major points of the community. If you had actually read it instead of seeing the first line and posting this and probably trying to get it kicked off you would have realized that this is really what some people, like me want. Others too! I have a friend who actually talks about this same stuff.

Have you seen my mind anywhere? I seem to have lost it...

I have seen you future

You know, having one line that alludes to the story doesn't make a roughly four thousand character rant about gameplay belong in the Universe forum. But, since this is the Universe forum, where we discuss story, not armor lock, I will examine your claim.

What is so difficult to understand about the Halo story as it is presented in the games. I will be the first one to admit that there is a complicated back story if you go looking for it in the books and hidden extras like terminals or data pads. That said, if you just play the games (you know, those people who aren't "dedicated fans") then the story is simple.

Crash on giant ring, save crew and captain, find superweapon, oh no zombies, fire ring, destroy ring. That is the basic plot for Halo Combat Evolved. Halo 2's was slightly more complex with the Arbiter plot, but Halo 3 was at least as simple as Halo CE.

Thank you for posting this, so I don't have to. I believe the same things. Halo Reach is not like the other Halo's we know. One more point though is that Halo: Reach didn't feel like a different world. It felt too much like home. Halo 1,2,3,ODST, and Wars felt like a different place. It is what made the game for me what it was. My favorite game. But now with Halo:Reach it isn't the same. It has turned into a non-symmetrical map. A non-equal spawning weapons. It isn't what I know as Halo.

if you can't deal with armor lock it's because you -blam!- suck at halo. jesus, i am so tired of hearing "hardcore" halo players, complain about this.

In memory of those fallen in the defense of Earth and her colonies.

CoD is easier to play, thus attracts more of a casual community because of cheap easy kills that rewards players.

Reach tries to accomplish this to but fails because it still requires some thought to get kills.

  • 03.20.2011 3:15 AM PDT

Hi. That is all.

Your wrong. Simply the sad truth is CoD is more popular cause it takes no skill, and some random kid who rarely plays games can pick up a controller and start earning airstrikes in the first ten minutes of playing, whereas Halo takes skill and patience to play. Also, what would you rather fight in:
An abandoned, war torn city, with no corridor cover, and camping spots, or
a vast, open vista, that opens up into this new, unique and alien world that no one has discovered before?

Do you know what kind of hat I'm wearing?

A party hat; you don't get one. An honor will this party be, a party in your honor, for your honor. Some of Tfear's personal guards are going to be there. You'll be introduced shortly.

Prepare to die.

step 8: Innovation
step 9: ???
step 10: profit

And I think there is something wrong with step 1, Bungie implemented armor abilities to attract more people. Image halo reach without AA's .
"Halo reach, halo 3 with a new campaign, 3 new weapons and the theaterfunctions have been decreased".

Online Gaming's pretty much like a zombie movie. There are a lot of mindless idiots roaming around but you find some survivors on the way.

im sorry the words are to hard for you to understand.

Too many spelling errors and lack of real punctuation made if difficult for me to read.

I am fluent in English and Japanese, not whatever you just posted.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

People play CoD more because it's for casual gamers and there are more casual gamers then hardcore gamers. They try Halo and see it actually takes time to get a kill and that it takes time to get good at it, so they don't like it.
