The first two shots just need to hit the body....it doesnt matter where! The third on the other hand must be to the head. You now have a TSK. A tip on how to do it is to start at about the waist then work your way up to the head with each shot. What other kinds of tips are you looking for in slayer...what do you think you need help on?

Absolutely. the more you move, the better your chances for survival are. You wont get snipped as easily. Also, when in close combat, try to do different strafes. Go HERE and look for the "teach me" tab at the top to your right. It has a lot of good tutorials. A really good goal to have is to become a whore. Try to keep the power-ups under your control! If you have it, they dont=upper hand. A good idea is to also look for the respawn times of each of the weapons/powerups at thegtc as well. I must leave you so good luck. PM me if you have any more questions. Later

If you want to get good at melee, get your crappy whiny dad to play Battle Creek and only wack him. That is fun.

I am not a pro by any means, but I can get headshots quite often. I recommend that you practice by playing through the single player game using the pistol whenever possible. I usually play it on Heroic, but some people swear by Legendary.

I also completely suggest that you find a sensitivity setting that suits you best. The default is 3, but I prefer 5 or 6 (can't remember which). Set it too high and its hard to get precise shots. Set it too low and it takes forever to turn around or hit a moving target. Everyone has their own physical limits on hand-eye-coordination and reflexes, so I recommend you experiment some to find a setting that's right for you (and how you play).

The others who have posted advice are good ones to listen to. They know much more than I ever will. Still, thought I'd share a few ideas. :-)

Edit: Oh, I just remembered. If you're shooting at a target that's a good distance away from you and moving horizontally across your field of vision, you'll need to learn to 'lead' your shots... that is, to shoot slightly ahead of them (predict where they'll be when your bullet passes by). You probably already knew this, as it's a pretty basic strategy, but I thought I'd share cause combat is hectic and sometimes I forget some things that are really obvious! ;-)

Umm....to get a head shot with a pistol, you have to aim for the head with the pistol, then pull the trigger.
(Sarcasm intended.)

Also you can just start a game of CTF and dont capture. The score is virtually endless. I would also like to say thanks for everybody that was nice to this person....the forums need all the kindness they can get these days!

An excellent point. While this may be one of the most repeated tips anyone can learn (Right up there with "Always reload, whenever possible"). Leading someone is a key to a effective combat strategy. Leading is a function of speed and distance. Even though a target may be moving slowly, if they are a ways out, it takes your shot that much longer to hit the target.

So in short, the farther out/faster the target is, the more you lead.

Also, while head shots are the 1337 way to punk someone they are not always practical. Try for shoot in a target's center-of-mass. Save the head shots for the right tool, the S2 AM.
