OK, first person to say "ZOMG TEH MOSE33A ANDANWE KEYABAORD ASQARA BETTAER NO98BSZ!!12" gets the official "I am a retard" award.

I have recently bought a USB PC gaming controller. I got home, plugged it it and mapped all the buttons to a nice layout.

I then log into a random game to test it out.

Oh noes! Err0rz!

Yeah. For some reason, my character automaticly steps to the right without showing signs of breaking stride. I can still move around as normal, and the such. But if I want to walk straight, I have to put the analog stick in a NW position.

I then calibratd the controller, thinking that it must of been booted up with the stick slightly west. I do that, and bang. The same.

Then, for fun, I decied to do it, but try and calibrate it so the controller would move slightly to the left (By moving the stick east). Well, in the menus it worked. But as soon as I logged into multiplayer, I'm all right. Well, I'm not. But that's the way I'm moving.

I then boot up campain, just to see.

What's this? I'm standing still. Thinking I'd made the biggest breakthrough in science since making AOL trials arodynamic, I quickly boot up a multiplayer game.

Oh noes!

I'm moving right away (Love the puns).

I'm about to boot up CS and test it out...

Could someone direct me to what ever the hell's wrong?

Oh, and keep in mind that my keyboard's acting up. So ignore any missed letters in words.
