Why are you all being so hard on this guy? I can't see anything to warrant any of it, if he wants to play games and let his kids play games then good for him. There's absolutely nothing that qualifies as bad parenting in that. People have different opinions on discipline and I can't give my own because I have no idea what being a parent is like.
But letting your 16 year old play xbox? Cool.
He's not paying for it? That comes down to opinions on parenting.
But the only things that I can say are truly 'bad parenting' no matter what are using drugs around your children or in general actually, and exposing them to things that are meant for adults. Also, passive smoking.
If this guy does none of those, then nobody should judge.
