Subject: How did you first get introduced to Halo CE?

I personally was 7 years old at the time and just came back from school eager to play the new xbox I got when my dad sat me down and showed me the box with Master Chief on it. To this day i remember the first time I saw a grunt and nearly lost my mind haha anyone else have an experience like this?

I like it how people who play Reach do something like go to sleep and people think therefore Reach is losing players.

I had just got a Xbox but I was more of a Nintendo kid
so I heard about this "Halo" game believe it or not I
hated it I found it repetitive and way too hard......
One year later I tried it again and for some reason absolutely loved it

17.. senior year of high school... Dreamcast was dead and my parents got me a xbox since I bought the DC with my own money, and they felt bad. Got me Kabuki Warriors... wow that was a bad game... traded it in for Halo CE within a week.

I was always a Nintendo kid as well ...

I went over a friend's house and he had this, there were about 8-10 of us, TV's set up, Xbox's in different rooms, and a LAN set up... we played LAN for about 7 hours that day ... CTF Blood Gulch, Team Slayer Chill Out, Damnation, Hang em High, Rat Race... what a great game.

Xbconnect made this game ten times greater by allowing people to play (FREE) against each other no matter where in the world. I remember playing on LoRdZ, StK, and TsK clans... good times

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

I was one of those peoples that felt MS should stay out of the console arena, that they should stick to PC games and thats it. My friends mother wanted us all to kick-in on an xbox for his birthday, so we did. He brought it to my house a few months later so I could try Halo, and two days later I owned it and an xbox.

Who's got AIDS?

I played Halo 2 back in 2007. My dad got me an xbox and Halo 2 was the only game that I had for it. I loved that game. Then, after playing a lot of Halo 2's campaign (didn't get xbox live until April 2010), I got Halo: CE. Never got to play it for multiplayer (same with Halo 2). I first played Halo: CE in 2007.

My cousin won an Xbox with Halo CE in a surf lifesaving competition, one time when I was at his place, he showed me the game, I was blown away. We spent hours playing Beaver Creek 1v1s. I believe I was 7 or 8 at the time, I used to beg my parents to take me round to his house just so I could get some gaming in.

When Halo 2 came out, we did the same thing. By the time Halo 3 came out, I had a job, and an Xbox 360 with Halo 3 was one of the first things I bought with my new source of income.

I will most likely remember the Halo trilogy my whole life, I won't think of how it dominated my childhood, just of the amazing times I had playing "Warthog Wars" and Co-Op Campaign.

Every year my mom would take me to GameStop to buy me the new Megaman Zero game that always came out on my birthday. For three years we went there to pick it up, but when MMZ 4 came out, it wasn't released on that day...I was so upset. I remember walking around the store looking for something else I could get for my birthday, and that's when I saw a big Poster of a Green Guy in armor, reminded me of a Power Ranger at the time...and it was Halo Combat Evolved. I begged my mom to get it for me that very instant. (and of course an Xbox as well. lol) And so she did.
Ever since then, I have been in love with Master Chief-Halo....both :]

I was outside playing with some friends after Christmas day. My friend told me he got the Xbox for Christmas along with this shooter game called Halo. So, I decided to go check out what he was talking about. We played 4 player Split-Screen Rockets on Wizard. Absolutely fell in love with the game.

One day, a new studednt in school invited me to his house and told me he and a couple of guys were playin' Halo. The next day, he kept telling me how it's such an awesome game because I wasn't able to come over. During this time, I was super hooked to Unreal Tournament and SWJKII: Jedi Outcast so I just wasn't ready to let another game into my gaming life. I was an UT fanboy. I bashed every game including Halo. I eventually got curious and downloaded the demo. Got addicted and started playin' the multiplayer portion of the demo. I never got to play the whole game on my own 'cause I didn't own an Xbox. On my trip to the U.S. on 2008, I bought a 360 and bought Halo 1-3. Been a Halo fan since then.

Oh yea, that new kid eventually became my bestfriend.

I always played Halo CE in a store called PC Superstore until I got it. Those were good times. I just went there with my friend and played all day long.

Halo 2 for Life!

The first day it came out is when I played it. My eyes were sore from the many hours of playing lol. MP with friends and with my brother were clunky at best though. It was more like playing campaign than playing MP maps lol. Anyways it still was one of the better games I've played because of it's story and campaign.

Get the hell off my planet!

I was 9 when I moved to Florida and made friends with some of the neighbor kids, one of whom's older brother had recently gotten Halo 2 Limited Edition. My then-friends showed it to me, and I was hooked. I asked to play Halo CE, and beat it (albeit on Easy) in one night. You try being 10 years old and experience the Flood in it's built up first appearance in the dead of night and darkness.

I don't remember my age exactly, but I remember my uncle calling and saying he had this awesome game where you can shoot aliens. So my parents took me over there, and I almost s*** a brick! My uncle had at least 12 people over, playing System Link Multiplayer. I sat in the background, taking in all the explosions, flying bodies, and headshots. Eye-candy to the fullest. After all the frenzied action was over, and the people had dispersed, we played Co-op Campaign. There was nothing more exciting for a kid my age than going toe-to-toe with an Elite with a squad of Grunts at his command. It was such an appealing game, we couldn't put down our controller until 3 the next morning. That is how I first got introduced to the global phenomenon we call Halo. Kudos to you Bungie.

Well then, you somehow found my signature, nice job, so time for your prize.............FLOODIANS! ATTACK! Also, those socks do NOT make you look handsome.

i went to my friends' house, and he wanted to show me "Rogue Master Chief", and i wondered what he meant by that, so then he was on the first level of Halo CE, and in the command bridge of the ship, Pillar of Autumn, and he started shooting all the people on the bridge when he got the pistol, then he was shot by marines trying to stop him.

Glory and fame, blood is our name!
Souls full of thunder, hearts of steel!
Killers of men, a warrior's friend!
Sworn to avenge our fallen brothers!
Sons of the gods, today we shall die.
Open Valhalla's door!
Let the battle begin, with swords in the wind! Hail Gods of War!

I just figured that it had to be good if it got so much good press. I got it a year or two after Halo 2 launched, so it wasn't very expensive.

I'm a pretty good sniper.

Well I would at age 5, 6 and 7, sit in my dad's lap and watch him play games. I watch him play AWESOME games on the PC like: Freelancer, Far Cry, Splinter Cell, and finally HALO. I think I was 6 or 7 and I almost peed myself when I saw the Flood. About a year or two later me and my sister got a xbox for our birthday and I remembered Halo CE so I got it and Halo 2.

JESUS IS MY MASTER CHIEF!!

RIP Halo 2

Back in 2001, I went over to my friend's house and his brother was playing this new game called "Halo" that had just come out. I remember he let us play, and the first level we played was the Silent Cartographer. And then that Christmas, my friend and I both got xbox's and a copy of Halo CE. He was the first person I ever played Halo with. And he was also the last person I played Halo 2 online with.

My friend who had both Halo 1 & 2 let me buy them off him for a few pounds, then I returned them when he wanted them back. skip a few years later and my cousin gets an original Xbox with Halo 1 & 2, so I asked if we could borrow them. he said yes and we've never brought them back! (It's ok though, he hates Halo anyway and has a PS3)
