I really must be the only one that doesn't experience any of these issues.
You're not alone.

Oh boy, here we go again. Attack of the blind $$Micro$oft$$ hipsters.
As I recall Mactards are the only hipsters in the technology world. You are either delusional, poorly informed or both good sir.

I didn't buy my Mac for gaming, believe it or not I actually have a life and attend a school for media, a school in which a PC would not stand a chance. I wanted to get Halo 2 because it is still has online multiplayer. Getting Halo for my Mac was a secondary thought and it's the only game I'll be putting on my Mac.
How do you mean? Video or Music? either way they are STILL cheaper alternatives to the expensive hyper-proprietary software that Apple offers. But lectures aside, H2V has a population of 70 to 80 players at any given time, so unless you like circle jerk gaming... Oh and Halo Mac costs about $100 It would be smarter to get Crossover for this, but once you put crossover in the picture, you have something of a spectrum of games you can play, But that would ruin the point of putting windows on your computer, now wouldn't it?
I don't have to buy Halo for the Mac, I can just Bootcamp my Mac and play the PC version.
As for you idea of Music and Video, those are both very expensive pieces of software that you have to buy separately for your PC. My Mac has better Audio/Video software that comes built right in to OSX. You end up paying a little bit more for a Mac but in the end you save because you can just buy the baseline Mac and it will have all of that amazing software built in. On a PC if you want exceptional audio/video software, you have to buy them separately. In the end, an ideal PC would end up costing more because of all of the upgrades that would need to be purchased in addition. Besides, my PC's built in media center is good enough for me. I have my Mac for when I need it, and my PC for when I need it. Ultimately I win either by having the best of both worlds.
Now, no more posting about Mac vs. PC unless you want to be reported. I want details regarding the original topic, not opinions. So if anyone has Bootcamped their mac and run Halo on the PC component I would love some details from you.
