Subject: Halo CE Remake not what we think it is?

It will most likely be released as a full priced, NEW game.

Besides, does everybody forget when Frankie shot down the rumors by outright saying it would be incredibly lazy and unimaginative if they didn't add anything new to the lore?

A remake of CE adds nothing, even if they put in levels from the book.

This same spiel again?

I've yet to see anything that kills it.

I mean, the Flood and CE give a pretty complete picture of the events of Alpha Halo. How are you going to add stuff to that?

I hope they do a little more than just redo it with reaches graphics engine.

Such as...make the game start a little before. Have us do a couple missions as reach is falling before going to halo.

Well done.
I should read more books.

Name's WIlliam,

For the love of God it's pronounced mister-shag, not misters-hag.

I'll pretty much buy anything with the word Halo in it so I would be very happy with this. I wonder/worry about the future of Halo often.

"Where ere thou hast been, here or in yon world manifest? Canst thou tell what is, or what was, or what is to come? No thing shall last. Yet there are some things that will never change. History is written in blood, yet are battles really lost on the battlefield? Canst thou tell me where thou comest, and where thou goest, and what is, or what was, or what will be? For everything remains, AS IT NEVER WAS."

New game does not mean the same thing as "new Halo."

So? During Halo 2 and 3 there were Bungie employees that didn't like dual-wielding. Frankie is entitled to his opinion, but just because he thinks it would be "lazy," doesn't mean it's not going to be done.
