I'm reading The fall of reach and I think I will be finished reading it soon so I wanted to know which book should I go for next.
I don't have any of the other books but I was wondering what the next best one is.

"I may not be perfect, but always been true."

The Flood, First Strike, Ghosts Of Onyx. Follow that order.

The Flood, First Strike, Ghosts Of Onyx. Follow that order.

This if you want to understand the story. Then you can go to Contact Harvest and The Cole Protocol and Evolutions, Evolutions is just a bunch of short stories while they are fantastic they don't really follow the story arc of the novels. Then of course you HAVE to read Cryptum. So many things revealed.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

You don't really have to read The Flood, however. It's pretty much just a more in-depth version of Halo: Combat Evolved. I didn't read them in any particular order myself. But, The Flood, First Strike, Ghosts of Onyx would be best. The Cole Protocol, Contact Harvest, Evolutions, and Cryptum you can read anytime in any order. And, quite frankly, The Cole Protocol, Evoltuions, and Cryptum were among my favorite books.

You should have read Contact Harvest, then The Cole Protocol, ands only then The Fall of Reach. But, oh well. Just read The Flood now. Or instead, you could just play the Halo 1 Campaign, maybe, and then read First Strike. First Strike is pretty good.
