Hmmmm, Oh, hello!

I guess the soundtrack, and the fact that it gets you Recon, and extra maps for Halo 3.

There was nothing that I loved about it. The pistol got a nice upgrade, the new Firefight mode was pretty cool for its time, and the music was nice in places. But I wasn't too impressed by the characters or anything like that.

The Challenge.

i liked how open the whole entire map was, even though it was a pain walking around and trying to find a vehicle in all that mess of a city

The night time missions. I liked being given the freedom to avoid squads or decide where I want to attack from.

Oh and Buck. Got to love Nathan Fillion.

Roaming was awesome

I totally agree wirh you ClaudeSpunkton , soundtrack is awesome!
But less epic than halo3.
Very imaginative gameplay and new features .
I've never played halo reach before so i don't know but right now ,my halo favorite game is odst.
Characters'design is nice too.

This is a RETICULE, and that is a RETICLE. I'm using the latter to aim. And what are you using?

The whole atmosphere and setting. You're not playing an augmented super soldier who more or less single-handedly takes on huge Covenant armies in rather bright and colorful environments, but a normal human soldier who fights to survive and get out of an occupied city that's presented in a dark, gloomy, slightly depressing, and threatening manner. I simply loved that, and that's the reason I'm still playing ODST's campaign - or at least parts of it - over and over.
