What? Play a game? FOR FUN???
This concept of fun confuses and infuriates me!
Actually, I have had the same problems with {ME}=KING.
The things I've observed about him are:
1. He NEVER says anything. Ever.
2. You all know, he tk's 3 times, then quits and rejoins to bypass the ban. He also quits then rejoins if someone tk's him after 2 tks. He does this to bypass the wait.
3. I've also seen that the ever-so-smart players who tk him for revenge, eventually get autobanned for, well, over tking.
4. He never actually plays the game. The only thing that the true {ME}=KING does is join, TK, leave and rejoin. Thats it.
5. From what I've seen, he is only on the CTF servers. Im unsure if hes ever on any of the other Bungie game servers.
There have been rumors on many servers that KING is just a bot. But from what I've read so far here, Im starting to believe now that hes not.
And btw... I've stupidly experimented with a bungie tk time wait.
1st offense=5 mins.
2nd offense= appx. 12 hrs.
3rd: ?
I don't know if there is a fourth offense.
The only way I believe to stop KING, besides tking him and rejoining, Is that Bungie steps in, and actually watches over the PC servers. I play PC halo for the reason that I can't afford Live personally, and that my X-Box is borrowed from a friend. So my playing experience is ruined by KING on the Bungie servers.
Yes, I do know that Bungie is still very busy with developing updates and maps for H2, and H2 for Vista, and(im still unsure about this..) H3. But if someone would just pop in a server for a few games every so often, to make sure that noone is skipping over the autoban, and ruining the game experience, that would be more than enough to help. Or, even better, hire someone responsible to watch over the Bungie servers. The only way we can deal with this is not to just ignore KING or any other poser, but to actually take this up with the big guys, and talk to someone who could possibly do somthing about PC.
