There has been nothing stated about an already married individual that became a Swordsman.
All we know is that, after one becomes a swordsman, he cannot get married.
This is true. Still, I don't think a swordsman would have been that loyal to his wife. As sexist as it seems, in Sangheili culture the women seem to be second class citizens.
I don't really think so. They are allowed to work on the weaponry and vehicles (Improve upon them), which is a very high honor.
And as far as we've seen there has been absolutely nothing saying anything about military service for female Sangheili. I think it's more easily assumable that women in Sangheili culture are equal to men, or really close, seeing as promotion and the like in their culture revolves entirely around merit.
Also, just because we haven't seen any females in any military capacity, other than that weapons engineer in the material that went with Halo Wars, does not mean they can't serve. Like until Contact Harvest came out we didn't know that a female Jackal could be a Shipmistress. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence as the saying goes.
