How much does it cost a month with XBL?

Like, how much do you pay each month to play on XBL?

I'm planning to get it for Halo 2. Any Mod who read this, could you assure me if you could have 3 guests?

Thank you, Lil G durrty!

It's cheaper to buy a year long subscribtion for less than $50. Per month it's around $8.

Devil is Double is Deuce and Joker always trumps Deuce.

What he means is, even if you get the starter pack with the I year subscription, they ask for a Credit Card. Get Xbox Live. It's awesome. Then get Crimson Skies. If you wait til November to get it, all the good Gamertags will be taken.

Yeah, you pay for the starter kit and that gives you the first year free. Then you can pay monthly or yearly after that first year.

The Mods don't know anymore than we do. I know some of you think the Mods get updates and everything early. They only know what's going to happen to the forums and why.

Get the year subscription, you get the headset and a game. Plus it's cheaper all together.

You all are giving my different answers. It must be the Highspeed Internet you use to access XBL. Does it?

Gotta be DSL or cable based internet for it to work.

Do not worry about your difficulties in Mathematics. I can assure you mine are still greater.

Ok you can get the Starter kit which costs 70 bucks now and when you sign up you give then your credit card number. The fact that you got the starter kit means that you get that first year of live for free. After that year expires you can cancel your account, pay for another year, or pay monthly. It does not matter what internet you have (you must have broadband) the cost won't be any different. I hope i helped you.

Yeah, that helped a lot. But how do you pay for it? (XBL each month or year)

If your asking how I pay for it then the answer would be Yearly (because it is much cheaper.

NO NO NO! How do you give money to XBL? Do you mail a check? Do you tell them your credit card number? How do you pay for the usage of XBL? (dammit)

You give them your credit card number. (don't worry about that info getting in the wrong hands because it is Military Grade secure.)

Thank you everyone who helped me. Hope to see you on XBL around Christmas. OH! One more Question. Can you use or bring XBL to a different location? like a hotel? I'll explain why as soon as you tell my the answer to my question.

Yes yes, thats grand, THATS GRAND!

Well the reason I asked is because I'm going to OHIO for Christmas with three Halo fanatics.(5 if you count my little sisters. They CAN play Halo) And we all will be playing Halo 2 on XBL in the hotel room. Mostly CTP. I was also asking the Mods if they knew anything about the # of Guests you can have cause it was going to be 4 of us playing at the same time. Well that sums it up. Thank you again for helping through the steps of getting XBL.

Should I know anything else? Like where or how do you make a Gamertag?
