Now when I come to Bungie.net, ads pop up on my screen that won't let me close them or scroll down or anything. Or do you think I may have some spyware on my comp?

yup, also does anyone know what i can do to fix a prob im having. Anything that activates a pop up (like gamesites) will not load, the window comes up, but stays white, forever and when moved off screen will take on the image at the very edge. Im not so woried about the games, its more my mam's banking site (she uses virgin)i've been trying to fix it for a while, ive re-installed IE and tried its diagnostic program, but so far ive got nothing. Normal ad op ups work. I would really appreciate help on this un.

I don't know, today I downloaded the msn toolbar with popup blocker, and when I came on to B.net, the counter went up 1. I don't think it's you you may have spyware, and this message keeps telling me I do, but I ignore it 'cos it looks like an ad (I've not seen it since I got the toolbar so I assume that's what it is)

It sounds like Spyware to me. It doesn't happen to me.

Download Spybot Search & Destroy. When it opens, make sure you update it to get the latest updates. Just run it (it'll take a few minutes) and it'll remove everything.

Like that other dude said earlier (No nicknames this time), you could try downloading one of those toolbars with ad blockers on them.

Usually anti virus programs dont detect spyware or stop them from comming on the comp. But it is like norton that have net protection they may stop it.
And it is funny. I have never had any problems with spyware, or even viruses for that matter.
And I don't use a antivirus program.
