I don't know why everybody keeps saying that they wanted more flood in Halo 2, all the while saying that they were hard to beat. U can't have it all u spoiled bastards. Plus I bet if u had more flood in halo 2 with the same halo 2 AI you would be b*tchin' and complaining about how the flood were ridiculously hard. The flood were great in both games. I especially love the creep factor that they had in Halo CE, like the beginning half of 343 guilty spark where friendly dots would show up on the motion tracker but when you looked up at the coresponding area all you would see were these ugly disproportionate sillhouettes with tentacles running into the fog and then disappearing. Really creepy stuff. Not to mention their ridiculous numbers. In Halo 2 u expected the flood to be there but the talented people at bungie still managed to keep the creep factor in tact, like the great use of foreshadowing when you were reintroduced to the flood for the first time and on some of the later levels when it was almost pitch black with the eerie mist floating around and your flashlight rendered almost completely useless. I loved the new noises that they made, although the human flood noises didn't make much sense to me, but i liked them none the less. They could still leap over a tall building in a single bound, and were still more powerfull than a locomotive, and also they could do the little spiderman bit where they would climb up the wall and then jump at you, which was cool, not to mention the revamped A.I. And about the numbers thing, the only sacrifice in numbers that the flood suffered was in the ranks of those little eggplant looking muther-blam!-ers, everything else seemed to remain the same, which is all the better because they were pretty pointless in the last game aside from the fact that they earned their name.
