Subject: Your favorite memory from CE?

My favorite memory from the old CE days is when me 15 of my friends stayed up for over 12 hours straight just playing LAN CtF on Blood Gulch. Oh the good times. Walking downstairs and punching my friends for spawn killing. Camping the base with snipers, shotguns, and tanks. Nothing was more fun for me.

What about you guys?

Good players work together...and no matter how good you are, you're not physic. - blade6321

Seeing the Flood for the first time. I was 12. They scared the living -blam!- out of me. :)

1 shot 2 kills

I was ten, I'd just landed on the halo. The view from the bridge and the banshee battle. Or the end driving bit on legendary with my friend

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

I hate to sound cliche, but quite literally the entire thing. That game was full of so many "wow" moments (for that time in console gaming) it was just crazy.

I think my most standout moment had to be in 343 Guilty Spark, after you recover Jenkins vid data, and all of the sudden you hear the theme that would forever put you on your toes, followed by loud banging and an ass-load of red dots on the motion tracker. Good times.

I was somewhere around 9, and I had a few friends over. I had only been playing campaign for a year or two, and I never bothered much with multiplayer (besides driving hogs lol). It was the first time I had decided to play splitscreen multiplayer, and we had a blast. My friend had to lie to his mom that he wasn't playing a violent videogame every time we played afterwards.

I'm so hip your granddad broke me

On split screen, 4 of us would play race for the 4 hogs, and just play smash up derby in the middle of BG. The best was getting flipped out of your hog and trying to avoid 3 warthogs hellbent on splattering you

my most memorable part of this game was probably FIRST saw the master cheif in the very beginning stepping out of the cryo sleep. the image is forever tucked away in my life story. halo was my first game. it was also my first FPS other than Doom and others my first real 3D fps

Jesus loves you! But I think you're a -blam!-

All of it. My brother got an xbox for his birthday when I was 7 and he got Halo with it too. I was entranced and loved every moment of that game. Not to mention Xbox Connect matches were fun as -blam!-. "Blue team... Score."

Playing The Maw on co-op Legendary. I've done it solo, too, but not as fun.

"I am a monument to all your sins"

I don't have just one favorite memory. The entire game is awesome but a few of my favorites are the little sub-titles to all the missions and me and my friend playing co-op thousands of times and coming up with our own roles for playing the game ei only beat downs

Beating a Banshee noob with strategic maneuvering a.k.a. the spacebar during a Banshee dogfight. Then I got to play shee noob for a minute or two, but then I made a big mistake and exited the Banshee (to try and nail my opponent with a plasma pistol overcharge).

Let's just say after that, I was running, jumping, dodging splatter attempts, and hiding in the bases as usual. What did I learn from then on? Plasma pistol start gametypes suck and the plasma pistol bolts are only effective against Covies and Flood.

Other than that, it would have the first time I played with the Zealot at the part where the Covenant Dance music plays.

"We must hurry this portal is the first of ten."

Gamertag = A Few Moose

I was around 6 or 7. I was playing through the campaign on Legendary with my cousin. On one of the Flood missions, we kept getting our asses handed to us, so we had to keep taking turns running in, killing, respawning and swapping.
Good times.
