Subject: Your favorite memory from CE?

Be kind to others; you'll feel better.

The Flood.
I stopped playing for a week.

Also, the warthog run, Guilty Spark, Keyes (the level), Two Betrayals...so, the whole story bit.
And Halo PC online.

I also staped playing after a saw the flood but then it didn't creep me out anymore, also the warthog run, that was epic

The warthog run in the end. I was only 11 at the time and obsessed with star wars it was all about halo to me from that moment on.

"ARRRRRRGH, LITTLE CRUSTY PODS OF DEATH!!!!"

I'm not sure how to respond to that...

I responded by screaming "FOR NARNIA!" and running straight into the fray, popping the pods with the AR.

I persoanlly think that a grenade would serve the purpose better. And faster. And less little pieces of crusty pods on my shoes...what was I talking about?

If only you could stomp or roundhouse kick those little maggots...
My brother and I called them Popcorn Crabs.

I have never played this game with more than 4 people. I wish I have. We were never really people (or atleast my parents weren't) that could actually get off our asses to move a few TVs and xbox's around.

I'm trying to do so now though. I have the xbox's and have the TVs. Where to get a copy :/

Halo's a hell of a drug.

When Foehammer drops you on the beach on Silent Chartographer. "LZ gonna be hot!" I died like 10 times and had fun each time trying to storm the beach.

If you ever have the chance to play an 8v8 CtF on Blood Gulch; take it. You'll never have that much fun again.

Speaking of chuckles, let's all lol at IonicPaul, who makes friends with bugs to make up for his lack of human contact.

Accidental multiplayer on the PC version.

At the time, I had never played any multiplayer games and had no desire to, but I liked exploring multiplayer maps. So I start up a game and a guy joins. He kills me. I kill him back. People continue to join and I win. I realize that I like this. I start making games constantly. People who like to mod join and tell me about modding. I join HaloMods. I mod. I meet friends. We get Xbox LIVE. I play Xbox and Halo religiously now.

All because I accidentally hosted a game. Easily my most memorable Halo 1 moment.

Assault on the Control Room

  • 05.08.2011 4:01 PM PDT

I remember having nightmares that I was like in the battle and stuff against elites and disfigured grunts would come running at me, and I had a plasma rifle.

This is not a joke, I was in 4th grade (9 years old) when the game came out. I still remember having this dream/nightmare only once though.

I also remember how much the flood creeped me out.

We’re flawed because we want so much more. We’re ruined because we get these things and wish for what we had.

I`m going to say the entire thing from when Master Chief was woken from cryo to finding the flood and escaping Halo as its about to blow up. I had CE on PC so I also loved the multi-player CE and Halo 3 are the best multi-player experiences I have ever had. Halo is the only reason why I have an Xbox after all.

I <3 you too Bungie

Playing the mission 343 Guilty Spark in the cold dark basement rec room of a beach house in Nags Head, NC. I was sitting on the floor with my two cousins when the flood started pouring in for the first time. I freaked out. So much fun.

I personally thought it was a portable Guilty Spark that encourages me while I tackle my school Library

I AM THE GREAT BOBALUGA

Basketball team camps. Staying up all night battling on Blood Gulch and playing basketball all day afterward. Of course in between games we always got in a few matches.

Golden memories.
