Agreed. All the changes are good and add variety. Do we really want another Halo 3? Just running around with one gun and no armor abilities? It's good that 343 wants to try something new. Do we really want the same thing for three more games?

It's so great. What was your favorite level?

  • 03.28.2011 8:02 PM PDT

Hanger one I just shredded with the SMGs until ammo was out and I just threw 'nades like a boss while BRing.

My experience playing Cairo Station on Legendary

I love each and every level. Although, some less than others. My LEAST favorite is Sacred Icon. It's just fighting Sentinels.

I love Halo and video games. I started a business called "70MGame", I setup LAN events, tournaments, and Midnight Launch Events. Check us out in the link below.

I grew up playing Halo CE and have never stopped loving it since. I have one of the biggest Halo collections you will ever see with the crown jewels being life size statues of Master Chief, Kat, and Emile. Im hoping to have the entire Noble Team soon as well as other Halo statues

The entire campaign is incredible. I went through and beat Halo 2 last week, I was sick and wanted to play. I love the game so much, I really wish it was still an XBox Live game, I wanna play online again.

I loved Metropolis, The Arbiter, Delta Halo, Regret, Gravemind, Uprising and The Great Journey.

Why yes that is seven levels.

Possibly my favorite campaign out of all the Halo games.

  • 03.28.2011 9:54 PM PDT

You can fight and all of you will die, or you can not fight, in which case only most of you will die.

The entire Campaign is my favorite.

Gamers Anon

Achronos: And what's this about a "design team" I've been hearing? Apparently stosh is so awesome he's now considered a "team".

I like each level for its own separate reason.

It was overrated. Plain and simple. Especially the ending.

  • 03.29.2011 5:55 AM PDT

Halo player since day 1.

Hilarious post really because when Halo 2 came out, there was nothing but complaints about the campaign and how bad it was compared to Halo CE by nearly the entire gaming community.

I personally, always loved it.

Really? I think Reach's campaign is overrated by a long shot.

But I just played H:2 before Reach came out, and just recently. I loved it equally both times.

Homesite for funny videos, gameplay, and much more!

The Arbiter. Who else doesn't like going into Active Camo at will?

And technically you were part of the Covenant. What other Halo game lets you fight for the Covenant?

What you see with me is what you get. I would rather be hated for what I am than loved for something that I'm not.

I am who I am, not who you want me to be. Your approval isn't needed and your opinion isn't required or desired.

Yes the Halo 2 campaign was the best campaign ever! I love all the levels!

Outskirts and Metropolis define what a Halo game should be for me.

The campaign and story really are way above par for a video game.

Really? to you sir. Have you been on the forums lately? If anything it is way under rated.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

The last level is my favorite; it's the only level in any game that freaks me out to this day.

Walk by faith. Dude. Not by sight.

I tried to play the campaign after playing CE, 3, and ODST. I loved CE, 3, and ODST. I stopped the Halo 2 campaign on the second mission. The bad graphics made it almost unplayable.

Clearly because the desktop uses a 3 prong plug and a laptop uses a 2 prong plug, the microwave will fill your car with tostitos better

I'm not a fan of the campaign, in fact the oonly campaign of a Halo game that I have played from start to finish on more than one occasion is the CE campaign. I think H2's multilayer levels are by far the best out of any halo game.

halo 2's campaign was great in some parts, VERY ehhhh in other parts. I remember back in the day, there was non-stop whining about how bungie forced us to play as arbiter, and how boring it was the fight the flood and brutes (damage sponges) and of course the library-esque levels. I didnt think it was so bad, but I thought H3's campaign was alot better.

You do realize Halo 2 came out before 3 and ODST AND was on the older console, right? And saying that the graphics were worse than CE...wtf? Are you blind?

I remember quite a few people griping about playing as the Arbiter but as time went on a lot of them converted, imo. Funny thing is, even the general gripers of H2 could not be pulled away from their consoles.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing as the Arbiter. It was like playing as a ninja, going invisible, hunting the target, then killing him.
