U Mirin?

Why don't you do any work on your chest or legs or something? You look like a cartoon character.

and want to play either Halo 1 or Halo 2 on it. How much do they cost and where can I get them? Also, does anyone actually still play them? Lastly, can I use an Xbox 360 controller on my macbook to play these?

Halo 1 is the only Halo for mac. It's also $100 off Amazon Marketplace. But then again, mac stuff is expensive, so you can't really complain about that. People still play Halo Mac, as it shares the Halo PC server list. As for Halo 2, don't bother. It fails hard.

My Youtube - Halo 2 Online Co-op
BUNGIE AND MICROSOFT FAILS HALO 2 VISTA.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

There is an open source driver for the Xbox 360 controller to work on Mac.

$100?

How the HELL is it that much? Not only should it be cheaper since it's 10 years old, but I've never seen any new game for that much money.

It's rare (all copies are used), and it's on the mac. And since macs are overpriced, so is Halo 1. If you pirate it, most Halo PC servers do key checking, so don't expect to play online.
Halo PC is $20 however.

Halo 1 is worth it, and plenty of people still play it. It also has some of the best mods around with Halo: Custom edition. The Mac version regularly goes for over 100 bucks, though. If you have a spare copy of Windows XP/Vista/7 lying around, you might consider using Boot Camp to run it on your Mac. The PC version will only set you back 20 dollars, after all.

Halo 2 isn't worth it, except for maybe achievements. Not only is it a bad port with all sorts of problems, but there's also only 4 or 5 servers with people in them at any given time. As far as I know, it also isn't for Mac, so you'd need to dual-boot Windows Vista or 7 (doesn't work on XP) in order to run it.

It shares the server list with HPC? I don't think so. I played the trial for a long time and when I moved over to the PC trial the servers were different.

Also, Halo Mac runs of a more recent version of Halo's engine than Halo PC does. For example, all chatting goes on in the blue text on the top left of the screen.

The trials are on different EXE versions. The newest HaloMac will connect to 1.09 PC servers.

As for the engine, it probably uses an alternate version, but it can't do as much as custom ed.

Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.

That's the trial, which don't count. Mac and PC players can play together on HPC. I've played with plenty, had a couple in my old clan, ect.

So the location and style of the text makes it a more recent version of the engine? Lmao.

Not really, the only real reason it is expensive, is because it is hard to find outside of the internet. but there does exist a cheaper and more worth the value alternative...

As for 360 controllers, Shock found this but you will need an adapter if you have a wireless one.

That's not a reason, it's a result of it. The reason for me saying it is that I was told it.

By who?

Yes you can play these games on your Mac flawlessly on the highest settings. Which MBP? Yes there is a controller DMG installer just a sec I'll find it for you. It has to be wired though unless you have the wireless thing, the developer is trying to get it to get wireless ones to connect via airport, maybe soon, enjoy.
Bam!!!

Wow, I had no idea that existed. If I had known about that a couple years ago, I might have gotten a MacBook Pro instead of a Dell XPS laptop.

How well does it work?

Depends on what game you are playing. But keep in mind, not all games work, and the MacBook Pro is still very costly compared to the Dell XPS. Long story short, you made a good decision.

Only 20 people use that. Most people use version changer or play on some outdated version (like 1.04 PC or 1.00CE), even though there are serverside cracks (like Gandanur) for 1.09.
